The Burnley scarf is getting plenty of airtime tonight
Full House for Shane in the trial.
And yet again they got the wrong on the treat challenge.

Re: Jordan North in Welsh jungle
They should test Jordan's resolve in these treat challenges, and make the reward either the Burnley results since his entry to the castle, or a cup of bovril.

Re: Jordan North in Welsh jungle
First vote off tonight, with the series finishing next Friday.
I think the castle is much better than the jungle. They should stick with historic castles instead.
Jordan now 11/8, so better odds now than they were, if you're thinking of placing a bet. Perhaps it's due to him not getting as much air time recently, due to Shane Ritchie doing 3(?) trials on the bounce.

Shane wasn't quite so cocky after last night's trial was he, that'll teach him not to brag.FactualFrank wrote: ↑Fri Nov 27, 2020 11:04 amFirst vote off tonight, with the series finishing next Friday.

Difficult to say who'll go tonight, as it's a vote to save, and they're always harder to predict.
I'll take a punt and guess at a final 4 of Jordan, Shane, Mo & Giovanna, although Bev or Jessica could could be dark horses due to their soap fanbase.
I wouldn't lose any sleep over Russell, Ruthie or Victoria leaving the castle later, none of them have really caught the eye or provided much entertainment in my view, and the deadwood needs to go early.

Forgot about Vernon, probably because he's not been aired much in the past couple of days, I'll be if he wins it though.

You can't win these shows in the first few days, but you can lose them. It's a bit like a horse race, it's often better to be buried in the pack, rather than right out the front, or right at the back. Giovanna has seen her odds drop dramatically for the last 7 days consistently. Jordan might have gove off too quick, and his odds have drifted for 4 days now. Will be interesting to see.

A few too many tears from some of them after only being in there 12 days, and 10 days for one of them.

I watched a few minutes of it tonight toe curling stomach churning celeb love in. They are in a castle, getting paid for it, bawling like babies, they genuinely think they have been through a trauma equivalent to D Day and they are such a band of brothers.

There does appear to be a lot of moaners in it this year, compared to being in the Aussie jungle their getting off very lightly, so shut up whining and start entertaining the public and earning your money, ya bunch of pansies.

The bee hole end bogs would have required more then a quick mop. Fortunately Jordan isn't as psychologically scarred by them as us older Clarets.

They were discussing big pay days...in particular Shane getting £500,000 for the Daz adverts. He said "id wear a mankini and walk around Burnley town centre for half a million....in fact, i'd walk around Burnley town centre in a Blackburn shirt for half a million..."

Just told the nation his happiest moment was Burnley beating Utd in our first game in the PL, but he wished his Dad was there to share it. He was in Iraq... nice moment.

Re: Jordan North in Welsh jungle
So I've put a couple of bets on. I'm basically going to bet for the favourite to go out, every eviction day, where it's clear. £40 on 1/4 is a tenner. Got a bet on Jordan to win, so could be a decent £100+ by next weekend if the favourite goes out each night.
I've noticed it's very rare for the bookies to be wrong on these. Maybe they get their hands on the numbers on previous votes so have a very good idea who's going next.

Re: Jordan North in Welsh jungle
I watched it until the past couple of days, but I tend to agree this series has been a bit flat, it certainly won't live long in the memory unlike say the Redknapp series which was a classic, hope Jordan goes on to win, the town could do with a pick me up ATM, and if he wins then there's more chance of Pendleside getting further donations and publicity, and that's what his primary motivation for doing this show is, as well as buying his mum a new kitchen.Top Claret wrote: ↑Sun Nov 29, 2020 8:47 pmWatched very little not really my cup of tea, especially when I heard they were getting on so well

Get your household to download the app at 5 free goes a time, when it comes down to the final night just bang them all on Jordan to win.
I csnt believe a big syndicate has decided to do similar and use it to their advantage to bet on and gain money.
There can't be many these days the genuinely ring up at a cost of 50p to vote..

Re: Jordan North in Welsh jungle
My bet came in last night. She was 1/4 and the clear favourite to be the next one leaving ahead of second fave (think that was something like 8/1). Jordan's odds to win are lengthening very slightly. He was 5/4, is now 6/4.MACCA wrote: ↑Mon Nov 30, 2020 9:57 amGet your household to download the app at 5 free goes a time, when it comes down to the final night just bang them all on Jordan to win.

If Jordan is to win we will need all the Burnley fans voting for him.
It would be massive for Pendleside hospice, the town and the club.

Re: Jordan North in Welsh jungle
Giovanna was around 16/1 last week, she has come from no where, the story about the Royals might have just clinched her loads of fans, and also Jordan hasn't had enough screen time recently.
He needs to be back doing trials, as he doesn't have many ( or maybe unwilling ) to tell many funny stories about other celebs or famous people.
It's been name dropping central in there, yet he hasn't really been able to get involved.
Jordan will need the whole north voting for him I think, and we know how tight, miserable and defeatist us lot are

Seems to also be about the peeing on the floor. They thought it was Jordan so assume the viewers also did. But at the end of the show last night people were now saying they think it's Shane, so that could go in his favour.MACCA wrote: ↑Tue Dec 01, 2020 7:08 amGiovanna was around 16/1 last week, she has come from no where, the story about the Royals might have just clinched her loads of fans, and also Jordan hasn't had enough screen time recently.

Re: Jordan North in Welsh jungle
I think Jordan's blown his chances - he seems tired to me, relying on dropping in the Burnley references but without much humour or spark. Hope he perks up. I think a lot depends on the editing, I'm not surprised VD got the chop, she appeared to be featuring in her own documentary the other night. She's OK but grates a little.
