Re: Jordan North in Welsh jungle
Well he's only been in the show a few days (think they did the abseil down the cliff on Thursday) and already he's conquered 2 of his biggest fears, (heights & snakes) I'd say on balance it's better for him to get them out of the way early, then he'll be able to properly enjoy the experience, I think I'd have been ok with the snakes, the abseil would have given me the 'Heebie-jeebies' however.
I only hope that all the celebs do their fair share of trials, when the same few names are selected over and over it's becomes tedious to watch, and nobody should be given an easy ride in there.

Re: Jordan North in Welsh jungle
He went to school in Burnley until he was 12. That’s from Burnley.claret wizard wrote: ↑Mon Nov 16, 2020 11:06 pmMy mother researched the family tree (not my thing) and for over 200 years the family have lived in Burnley. 3 of the direct line weren’t born here, including me. All born elsewhere because of parents serving in the forces.
I believe that Jordan grew up in Harle Syke, top lad, hope he wins. Tonight was epic television.
And even if he wasn’t the fact he wants to be is good enough for me.

For those with smart phones, you can download the I'm a celebrity app and vote for him to survive and later down the line win, with 5 free votes each time there is a vote.
It's free!
However if that's not macho enough, get the Mrs to do it, its only on for 3 weeks, your mates will never know, and you can delete it once its finished.

Oooh, so edgy! Of course you can
Was just telling another poster (not you) that he's mentioned having a boyfriend on the radio in the past. Can I ask if that's okay with you, Siddo?
He was great last night. Wish I'd have bet on him to win at the start because his odds are looking brilliant now. UTC!
Re: Jordan North in Welsh jungle
He is still only 2nd favourite, at 3/1 - 7/2, however Shane Richie is favourite, maybe as he is more well known, will be more familiar to the targeted audience and seems a nice chap and the father figure in the group.SalouClaret wrote: ↑Tue Nov 17, 2020 7:43 amHe was great last night. Certainly a 2 horse race I think unless they get 2 more characters in there, a few quiet ones in, and no real pot stirer/controversial contestant it seems.

Just wondering why that was the only characteristic you mentioned about him.SalouClaret wrote: ↑Tue Nov 17, 2020 7:43 amOooh, so edgy! Of course you can

I'm still curious as to why. Do you always discuss things with your mate on a sports forum, or do you have a specific, underlying agenda?

Seeing as though I'm female, and not straight, what agenda might that be, Siddo?
Anyway, I'm not letting another idiot ruin yet another thread
Looking forward to seeing Jordan again tonight and hopefully many more Burnley mentions!

Give it a rest.
Who Cares?
You'll get another thread locked / binned for something stupid.

Looking at oddschecker I noticed Russell Watson is listed. Is he due to enter at some point or have I missed something?

Re: Jordan North in Welsh jungle
Anyone want to guess how many times Jordan will mention Turf Moor tonight during the task, as it's an eating task I think, it might not be as often as you'd imagine.
Surprised Shane Richie is favourite to win, but Eastenders stars often do well in this, and the other ex-Eastender Jessica Plummer seems rather quiet by comparison.
It's been ok so far, but it could do with a few arguments, they're all getting on too well for my liking, it needs someone or something to shake things up quickly, otherwise there's a danger of it being a dull series. I've no doubt the producers will have plans to spice it up soon.

Looking at the lineup I'm not seeing any arguments.tiger76 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 17, 2020 8:01 pmIt's been ok so far, but it could do with a few arguments, they're all getting on too well for my liking, it needs someone or something to shake things up quickly, otherwise there's a danger of it being a dull series. They normally stick a couple of twunts in like Ian Wright, as to get arguments flowing but there doesn't appear to be anybody like that. Russell Watson comes across as pretty laid back as well.

Re: Jordan North in Welsh jungle
No they seem a very harmonious bunch right now, mind you they are winning the trials ATM, if they are on rice & beans for a few days the atmosphere might change, or the weather turning they've had it pretty good thus far, but it's due to get colder in the coming days, that might test them more, and a bit of Welsh rain wouldn't go amiss either.FactualFrank wrote: ↑Tue Nov 17, 2020 9:05 pmLooking at the lineup I'm not seeing any arguments.

Jordan nominated for the trial again, the difference this time is he's on his own, and won't have someone to coax him through it as Shane did last time.

12 stars for Jordan tonight, he must be a contender after that, and he was funny during the trial also bantering with Ant & Dec he'd never have done that a few days ago.
