Re: Last Man Standing is launched
Quick look suggest there are 12 through, 15 out and another 42 to play all on Leicester. So we will have 12 or 54 left in week 3.

I want a Leicester win as it's the best result for Burnley.
Definitely not because I will go through to the next round...

Fulham winning 0-2. Could be a major upset on the cards.

The only good news here is that I don’t have too many emails to send out.

Just noticed that with the exception of Leisure everyone through to the 3rd week has bet on the Clarets to lose at least once. So much for positivity being rewarded in life

Re: Last Man Standing is launched
Personally I would give it to Leisure now, solely based on the fact of whom he had to go through and all the others going through picked a certain side.
I'm routing for Leisure now
It was fun while it lasted, a little more for the foodbank sooner probably , which can only be a good thing.

Re: Last Man Standing is launched
Despite having two entries, I still only managed to pick a single winning team - Burnley! It's good to support a side who you can rely on.

Feel like I bet on the clarets to lose with choosing the Foxes - now Fulham are above us in the league, and I'm out. At least the foodbank gets some of my money, maybe I'll have more luck on the lotto

Re: Last Man Standing is launched
I wasn't expecting it to be down to 12 so far and I agree with CrosspoolClarets, it's shameful selecting Burnley to lose.
We will see how long this runs and then hopefully hold another in the second half of the season.

Re: Last Man Standing is launched
Perhaps one of the rules should be that no-one can pick Burnley's opponents in that round

Re: Last Man Standing is launched
Looking on the list, there is a few who picked Man City that had Burnley the week before.
So to take that risk, you can’t blame them for having an easy week at it.

Just one leaves the competition this week.
Re: Last Man Standing is launched
That's because the idiot chose Aston Villa, didn't notice the game was postponed and got lumbered with Sheffield United.

Re: Last Man Standing is launched
I've just sent out the emails for week 4 with reference to week 5 for those who win through (midweek fixtures)
I know a few have asked on here if their entries have been received so I've made a change. If you look at the announcement thread at the top, once your entries have been received and recorded, I've indicated under Week 4 on that thread. Your selections are not shown, that will be after the cut off, but the word received will be alongside your name.
