Partnerships - brilliant
Key part of our success has always been key partnerships accross the team.
Having Mee and Rodriguez back is huge. As both epitomise what we are about.
But even more so the partnerships they’re part of.
Jay and Wood were superb. And both linked up really well.
Mee and Tarkowski are as good a pairing as we’ve seen. Both love defending. And so many clean sheets protecting Pope. Who when called upon was brilliant.
Brownhill back in his normal position partnered with Westwood was brilliant.
And all this allowing our full backs to link up with proper wingers.
That was huge. Gets a massive monkey off our back. And hopefully sets the foundations to push on from here.

Not sure about proper wingers. I thought Dwight had seen a ghost out left, he kept well away from where he is needed.

Shout for JBG who I think had a very good game and makes a big difference to us. And also Pope who made A very brave world class save late on.
On the occasion you do get past mee and tarks must be demoralising to know you then have to beat Pope.

Only for his grafting again. He still isn't supplying anywhere near what he did on his arrival.cricketfieldclarets wrote: ↑Mon Nov 23, 2020 7:27 pmThought he had a decent game. Aside from his poor back pass
