Pope purely because that last save was worth 2 points, it will lift the whole place now.
Massive win, let's hope this was the kick start.

All played well. Popes save was crucial. But jay coming in. Changing the style. Taking the game to them and setting up the goal gets it for me.

Both strikers, both central defenders and goalkeeper are candidates for me. That save at the end was stunning.

I've gone for Jay.

Pope
The one thing you can say with some confidence is that one save from Pope won us two points. In truth he'd had a reasonably quiet game but that's when good goalkeepers show how good they are. Superb save.

I was close to giving the MOM to Wood - not sure what people want from him but someone has given him a 5 in the player ratings

:? he's paid to score goals, and that's what he did tonight to earn us the 3 points, to me strikers are judged on their goal return, and his is very good for a team that's usually in the lower half of the Prem, he's our most likely guy to hit double figures again this season, as he's done for the past 3 years, and those goals could well be the difference between staying up or not.

Having said that I've opted for Pope as MOM, that save was gold dust at the death.

Very interesting in terms of goals scored but he's now scored more league goals for Dyche than Ings did and in less games. Also all in the Premier League where as two thirds of those from Ings were in the Championship. I'm not knocking Ings, far from it, but just pointing out how good Wood's goal return is for us. I think he's been a fantastic signing and yet all some people can do is count the number of times he's offside.

His PL record for us is 37 goals in 112 games, so 1 in 3 which for a team of our stature is more than acceptable, he tends to go on sprees when he gets going, so hopefully this will lead to yet another of his purple patches.

2 contenders for me, Pope or Jay. Iv gone for Jay Rod just.

I think Popes confidence is much higher now he has a good partnership in front of him again, that save was match winning stuff.

We just look a different team with Jay Rod in it. It has to stay that way.

You've found a goal that I haven't - I've got him at 36.

JRod or Nick for me, in the end went for JRod, just, because his 90+ minutes contribution I thought was excellent, Nick save fantastic plus thhe other really good save when McNeil made that atrocious backpass. Yes Nick ensured we kept the 3 points but I think JRod's play and his involvement in CW's goal just made me go that way.

I won't care which of the two get's it though, really good if we have 2 candidates for this, prefer 3 or 4 but two much better than one stand out pick :)
