Dyche to Palace

Post by brexit » Sat Nov 28, 2020 10:11 am

Watching the Newcastle v Palace match last night and I am sure Steve Parish said "get Dyche on the phone" to his assistant.

Were there any lip reading clarets who watched the match last night who can confirm this?

I’m a lip reading expert, he said ‘I’ve got ducks on the farm’.

He said "I'm sick of watching the oldest team in the premier league play defensive football"

Who can we get to change it?

When the camera went to him looking all angry I'm sure he said " damn that was it, I knew I had forgotten something today, it was my fake tan, I'm running low, I'll be looking pale tomorrow now"

Yes I’m sure parish was thinking Dyche is the best option to get this team playing better football.

They will no doubt go for someone like the Brentford manager or Eddie Howe.

I honestly think because of Dyche style of management he won’t attract many other clubs.

I disagree.... I think he is the natural heir to Hodgson in terms of putting out a highly-organised team and I do fear Palace pinching him . Hodgson has been a success for Palace but is now starting to look a bit doddery and I believe Parrish is a known Dyche admirer. I doubt the veracity of the lip-reading mind you !

Dyche would be an excellent appointment there. But while Howe is out of work that makes Dyche a little less likely imo.

Both would be a good fit there though.

Relatively close to Eddie Howe's home so his missus would be pleased.

I'm in between jobs and have a couple of days spare to help him move his office stuff.

What time shall I come get him?
