Tonight's footy 2/12/20
Boro & Sheff Wed ahead in the Championship games, Norwich 1-1 at Luton, Gibson back in their defence tonight, Rovers 0-0 at home to Millwall, and Stanley 0-0 at Shrewsbury. it'll be interesting to see whether having fans in attendance is an advantage or not, early signs are that the home sides are doing better than normal, but we'll need much more evidence to see if that remains the case or not.

Silly fool by the Sheff Wed lad. When your teams winning and you desperately need the points. Nothing area of the pitch too.

Fred does clear headbutt, ref told to review and gives him a yellow. Very lucky. Still behind.

Salford 2 down at Carlisle. They should call Grezza and beg him to come back.

Good to see fans back, even if it is vastly reduced numbers.

Amazing the difference at Boro from last season, I can see them sneaking promotion.

Couldn't understand his sacking at the time, and subsequent events haven't done anything to change my mind, they were sitting 5th when he got the bullet, now they're down in 9th and heading in the wrong direction at a rate of knots.huw.Y.WattfromWare wrote: ↑Wed Dec 02, 2020 8:26 pmSalford 2 down at Carlisle. Re: Tonight's footy 2/12/20
IDK if they'll break into the automatic places, but they must be a good bet for a play-off berth, Colin working the oracle again, as he often does.Conroysleftfoot wrote: ↑Wed Dec 02, 2020 8:37 pmAmazing the difference at Boro from last season, I can see them sneaking promotion.

Re: Tonight's footy 2/12/20
ManU 1-2 then Fred sent off after clearly playing the ball first. WTF is VAR for?
Studio ref with a new line, “Fred had raised his profile with the ref” with his earlier challenges. What a load of doggy doo

Re: Tonight's footy 2/12/20
Late drama at Shrewsbury, Stanley netting a 95th minute equaliser to deny Steve Cotterill his 1st win.
Re: Tonight's footy 2/12/20
750 career goal for Cristiano Ronaldo.
To put that in prospective, if you have a 15 year career. You must score 50 a season to match it. Incredible.

Blimey! just seen Giroud bagged all 4 for Chelsea at Sevilla.
United making hard work of this group, they, PSG & Leipzig all locked on 9 points heading into the final round of games.

Re: Tonight's footy 2/12/20
Hmm! me too, but it's worth remembering they had a few good runs last season, and then fell away, It doesn't help that a lot of the top sides slipped up again, that league is impossible to predict, I don't think Rovers will make the automatic spots or even the play-offs, but they are having a good crack as it stands.

Yes, but they’ve been building for a couple of seasons now. Would’ve been nice for them to drop points tonighttiger76 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 02, 2020 10:33 pmHmm! me too, but it's worth remembering they had a few good runs last season, and then fell away, It doesn't help that a lot of the top sides slipped up again, that league is impossible to predict, I don't think Rovers will make the automatic spots or even the play-offs, but they are having a good crack as it stands.
We should buy Armstrong in January... & then give him the Vydra treatment
Re: Tonight's footy 2/12/20
I'm not sure why Lampard seems to rate Tammy Abraham ahead of Giroud tbh.
Re: Tonight's footy 2/12/20
How many times has their opponents been reduced to 10 men, and/or they got pens?
Seems its every other week.
I'm sire the venkys are dishing out bribes.
They do look very good going forward though, theyve s bored the most and got the best goal difference in the division, and that's without Dack.
You dont lose many games and srent too far off the promotion shake up if you average 2 goals a game in that league.
Re: Tonight's footy 2/12/20
Championship looks madder than ever this year. Only about 3 points separating the top half of the table.
