Religious Eleven

I got bored when trying to sleep one night.

Nick Pope
Charlie Bishop
Simon Church
Owen Archdeacon
Gabriel Jesus
Ian St John
Ivor Allchurch
Dixie Dean
Baptiste SantaMaria

I had to cheat and search for the last two
Dickie Deacon and
Giovanni Rector

I thought that St Pauli would be the ideal club.

Can anyone come up with a non-Christian eleven to play against them (or even a satanic team??)

Rather childishly, every time I see Nuno Espirito Santo I have to repeat his name in a sort of religious chant prayer type of way.

Even more childishly, I tend to follow his name with - "Amen"
"Nuno Espirito Santo - "Amen"", (Resisting the temptation to make the sign of the cross)

Dunno, he was in the Bible but I don't know his back story. Was he a baddie?

No, but he was an Old Testament character, so an Israelite practising the Hebrew faith. (A High Priest no less.).
