Funny you should say that. Most of these are old, part of my portfolio for a project I am doing. But I was actually in Rawtenstall today. Thai Shack at the market. Unbelievably good food.
And yes plenty to picture in Rawtenstall. I want to get one of the temprence bar.
Got fond memories of Rawtenstall from my college days. Its actually quite a quirky little place now.

The one with the lady and umbrella. You could almost imagine she's painted on the wall
It's possibly a man on closer inspection

Ah no. I love that picture even if I do say so myself. I liked the grimness of it all with a bit of red / colour to the right. Then she walked into frame and popped off the wall brilliantly. Happy accident that one!

I think that says something about you Steve
Then again my college was bulldozed there. Not long after my school in Burnley was bulldozed. Not sure what that says of my education

Thats very kind of you.
Its all self taught but recently signed up to a diploma in my spare time as well as paying for some private lessons from a well known excellent local photographer. While they wont teach me how to spot things and fortunately as you say I luckily have a good eye, hopefuly will help improve massively on the fundamentals - settings, lighting etc.

I use that subway a lot (or did) on my visits to the Turf. You've managed to make it look even more depressing than it is.
