Re: Josh Brownhill
Big fan of Brownhill, and feel he has more gears to shift through.
Re: Josh Brownhill
I was impressed with him tonight. He looked sharp and more than once made up a lot of ground to get a block in.
A bit gutted that he didn’t get on the end of that westy corner for our goal.

Good lad, it was only a couple of weeks ago that some experts on here thought he was a lightweight....

I read somewhere he is doing a lot of long distance running to push his fitness levels.
It's paying off.

Re: Josh Brownhill
Class tonight. He’s got great energy and positivity with the ball.
Re: Josh Brownhill
Man of the match tonight, he was everywhere and tidy on the ball. Next Burnley captain after Ben Mee (whenever that may be).
Re: Josh Brownhill
Developing nicely. He’s very dynamic and some of his one-touch passing and lay-offs are a real asset in getting us playing.

Re: Josh Brownhill
Reads the game very well, makes lots of interceptions, covers acres of ground, and has a bit about him on the ball too. If he carries on his value will be huge .
Re: Josh Brownhill
Brilliant performance.
Re: Josh Brownhill
Have liked Brownhill since the 1st time he pulled on the Claret and Blue of a Burnley shirt...
Cork has a fight on his hands to get his place back...
Also a big shout out for Robby Brady tonight ... I thought he was fantastic all over the pitch ...

Josh is growing into the team, and seems to get better game on game, I think playing alongside Ashley Westwood has helped improve him, and don’t forget we’ve got jack cork coming back aswell

Re: Josh Brownhill
Brownhill has developed into an asset for the club and a good purchase from the Championship. For me, it just goes to show that there must be one or two more lurking in the league below us.

I bet there's 50 players in the Championship that could make the step up.Nonayforever wrote: ↑Sun Dec 13, 2020 10:21 pmBrownhill has developed into an asset for the club and a good purchase from the Championship. Re: Josh Brownhill
Nothing to say that Brownhill can’t play in there with Westwood AND Cork if we decide to play a midfield 5. Bags of energy about those 3 together and Brownhill has previously played as an advanced midfielder in a 3.

Re: Josh Brownhill
Trouble is their current clubs know this and duly inflate the expected transfer fee to way beyond what we have been prepared to pay.FactualFrank wrote: ↑Sun Dec 13, 2020 10:22 pmI bet there's 50 players in the Championship that could make the step up.
Brownhill was described as 1 for the future when he arrived but got thrown in once those out of contract players refused to play

Brilliant again. Love him.
Wouldn’t mind going 4-5-1 against Villa though and using Brownhill/Brady to double up on Grealish.

Re: Josh Brownhill
I thought that - or giving one player the one task of following Grealish all over the pitch. Without Ross Barkley Villa are last year’s team and powderpuff if Grealish isn’t firing.
Re: Josh Brownhill
He looked like he had "fired"in that pic on tinterweb last week, judging by the look he was giving the camera and his tousled hair askewIWOODLOVETT wrote: ↑Mon Dec 14, 2020 1:13 pmI thought that - or giving one player the one task of following Grealish all over the pitch. Bench Cork and let him earn back his place.summitclaret wrote: ↑Mon Dec 14, 2020 2:05 pmThat's easy. Play 3 in cm and 1 striker, like we did with Hendrick as a sort of nr 10.

Corks bobbing about in midfield with the under23's this afternoon
Re: Josh Brownhill
Just wish he had another inch in him and get the touch rather than the OG.
Only had him at 90/1 with Betfair

The current squad is now stronger than it was last season the main reason is Josh Brownhill.
