Don’t quite understand the Gudmundsson one. He played about 3 games ago, hasn’t been risked even on the bench since, because we’re ‘trying to get him free from injury’ - is it just a convoluted way of saying he’s injured again?

Great news about Cork in particular. He the one that understands best how Dyche wants to play.

Its important not to rush these, however they will be a big boost if all fit for the busy period coming up.
You look our bench and it had little options to change much with to be hones also a lack of real premier league quality or experience.

I also like we have a nice home FA cup game v lower league opposition, it allows a few players to get real match fitness.

Cork is earlier than I was expecting - didn't think he'd be playing a u23 game as early as mid-December.

I didn't think he'd be such a big miss but he really has been and it will be good to get him back fit.

It seems to be coming together nicely with a fully fit squad and on a good run at the moment with just one defeat in five.

Hopefully will allow us to put a bit of daylight between ourselves and the relegation places in the next few matches.

Amazing how good Cork has become during his absence.
Which of AW or JB is he going to displace?

It's just very noticeable that we are a better team when he plays

As long as Josh B stays fit and playing like he did Sunday I cannot see Corky playing a big part unless its from the bench

A couple of seasons back (2018/19 I think) I had really given up on Cork and felt that he was past his best...then last season I thought he was excellent again. I don't think I'm the best judge of a player to be honest but I would expect to have a consistent view on the same player over time.
