Looked like he'd eaten a family sized bag of Wotsits.
Going off-ish topic, I was near enough rolling about on the floor when Pickford shouted..... "Keepers!" then f***ing fairyhoused it like a homosexual windmill.

Although I must admit, Fulham are looking part decent at the moment.

Re: Sterling's lipstick...
To be fair, Fulham played very well the season before they came up last time - and the last time they were in the Prem. For the last 3-4 seasons they've passed the ball very well, had good possession and pass percentage.Bin Ont Turf wrote: ↑Sat Dec 19, 2020 11:54 pmNowt's decided after 12/13/14 games.

It seems to have been a leaky defence that let them down the last time they were in the Premier League. If they keep that tight, they'll stay up.

Have we gone so far backwards that we or ( the post match interviewer) can’t even ask what the lipstick is for , thought it was hilarious when he came on. Must be going out after....

Didn’t see this, but why should the interviewer or pundits question, or even comment on a footballer’s appearance?

If that's aimed at me they you are a bit thick cos no ones questioned you. What's rediculous is that someone has suggested the only reason some TV interviewer has not mentioned it is that they are scared of being accused of being racist.Giftonsnoidea wrote: ↑Sun Dec 20, 2020 1:25 pmHave we gone so far backwards that we ( post match interviewer) can’t even ask what the lipstick is for , thought it was hilarious when he came on. The interviewer can mention if he likes or if he doesn't give a sh*t then he doesn't have to but have we really gone so far backwards that if we (post match interview) dont even mention a players lips it must be because they are scared of being accused of being racist

Thought Gary could have at least said “ that’s a nice shade of orange “ his jokes are usually poor anyway
Re: Sterling's lipstick...
To comment on his lipstick would not be in line with LBGTQ+ guidelines if it is said in a joking or sarcastic manner. it’s a shame because it could put someone off commenting if they genuinely liked the colour.

You said it was because they wouldn't dare say it because they would bee seen as racist. This victim mentality and this behaviour of making up a scenario that doesn't exist just to be publicly offended by it is just as bad as any form of culture wars and identity politics that plague and divide our society in these current timesdurhamclaret wrote: ↑Sun Dec 20, 2020 7:00 pmOf course it is ridiculous but I didn’t suggest that that’s the only reason, but would not be surprised if if was.

You original post was rediculous so there's not much to debate. An interviewer didn't mention a players lips were a funny colour and you make up a scenario implying the interviewer would have wanted to mention it but didn't dare for fear of being called a racist (god knows why)durhamclaret wrote: ↑Sun Dec 20, 2020 7:17 pmCan we not have a sensible debate, now that’s pathetic

What's the bleeding obvious because they only thing I've questioned is the assertion that the interviewer avoided the subject for fear of being called a racist.RingoMcCartney wrote: ↑Sun Dec 20, 2020 9:02 pmI see the Not Allowed To State The Bleeding Obvious Police have arrived!
Apart from that stupid comment everyone else was having a bit of fun with it and no one had an issue laughing at Sterlings lips or wondering what it was?

I left it alone as you said you didn't want to continue which was fair enough but if others try and spin it round like I had a problem with people highlighting Sterlings lips and having a laugh about then I'm gonna point out I didn't.
I've no wish to carry out on arguing with you or anyone else but Im not gonna let certain posters (not you) try and play th victim with me being the bad guy bringing race into it when that's not the truth of the matter

Re: Sterling's lipstick...
I obviously wasn’t referring to tabloid articles or trashy websites, and I think you know that. I’ve never heard an interviewer ask a player about their appearance after a match, or the pundits mentioning the same on MOTD.RingoMcCartney wrote: ↑Sun Dec 20, 2020 9:49 pmPlesse allow me to refresh your memory.

Obviously you feel that pundits should question footballers about their appearance, which is fine, it’s your opinion. I just think it’s weird.
Re: Sterling's lipstick...
I’m not saying that is the case, but it is a reasonable explanation for it, in fact a much better explanation than those explanations that suit particular agendas on here and cause disagreements isn’t it
