Say it quietly but we're in real danger of putting a decent run together.

Said it the other day, it’s not beyond us to be knocking on the door of the European spots when we go to Anfield on the 21st January.RingoMcCartney wrote: ↑Mon Dec 21, 2020 7:24 pmSay it quietly but we're in real danger of putting a decent run together.

Solid, all round, none stop performance, with Taylor MOM.
Thought Barny did well and could easily have had more than one goal.
C'mon you PL Clarets.

Good win. Fantastic to score 2. Hopefully augers well for Barnes and Wood confidence going forward.

There's a delay on streams you know. Not everyone is in the UK. Not everyone's watching via broadcast tv. I personally get about a 60s delay in the US. Also, there's nothing wrong with talking about what's happened anyway Frank. Not sure what your problem is today man but you need to chill out!
We deserved victory today, Mason did everything he could to let them back in it right until the corner after time in the end.

Leeds a big game now. Get a win there and all of a sudden the table looks very different.

Absolutely brilliant that! I feel a bit sorry for Benson because it was a stupid challenge when we were totally coasting home and it made it extremely nervy. Hopefully he'll learn a bit from that (and Tarky will bollock him, but nicely, to make sure he does!)

Re: Burnley v Wolves - Matchday Thread
Gosh that was a nervy final 5 minutes, the most important thing is we saw it out just.
Huge 3 points, keeps our recent good run going, and lifts us out of the relegation zone.
Now we're only a point behind Arsenal.
Shame for Nick that he didn't keep a clean sheet, and he got a hand on the penalty as well, but thankfully it mattered not in the end.
Benson will learn from his mistake, I've seen a few youngsters being naive like he was this season, but this league is harsh, and he'll need to learn quickly if he's going to play in the PL, enthusiasm is great, but sometimes it's better letting the senior defender, in this case Tarks deal with it.

I also thought that Mason had a very very good game. I counted at least 7 or 8 advantages to let the game flow.
I appreciate he doesn't get the best of hospitality from clarets but was a very good performance tonight

Glad that Benson's challenge didn't cost us, he will learn from that about life in the Prem.

I know the grammar police can be a pain on here but when the person writing is a paid BBC journalist you do expect better...then again it is the BBC.
"It's been a fantastic performance from Burnley. They're work rate across the pitch is something you'd expect.
But they're technical ability and clinical ability in front of goal has been fantastic. Burnley have really impressed me tonight."
Not once but twice.

Very very good performance from Lee Mason.
At least 7 or 8 advantages and let the game flow.
Appreciate he doesn't always get appreciated on here but very well managed

Re: Burnley v Wolves - Matchday Thread
Just a shame he misses the obvious stuff. The tackle from Taylor where the camera was pitchside at the time was as clean as you can get. Podence clatters into him and gets the free kick. Sorry but that is basic stuff for a referee.dpinsussex wrote: ↑Mon Dec 21, 2020 7:35 pmVery very good performance from Lee Mason.

Spurs onwards (city aside) we have been excellent. And to do so with such limited options is fantastic.
Massive credit to Dyche where it’s due. And also for Ben mee who had been the ultimate captain.

Re: Burnley v Wolves - Matchday Thread
Well Barnes and Wood worked a treat tonight. Do them both the world of good to get back on the score sheet. Our defensive back line has been immense again and add in that clinical finishing and we are back to being what we are all about. Superb.

My grammar isn't the best, but even I wouldn't have made that mistake, let alone twice, that's just basic grammar, and you'd expect someone employed by the BBC to know the difference between their (belonging to) and they're.Somethingfishy wrote: ↑Mon Dec 21, 2020 7:34 pmI know the grammar police can be a pain on here but when the person writing is a paid BBC journalist you do expect better...then again it is the BBC.
