It’s a tricky one. Newcastle play defensively with organisation and strength but they got ripped apart.
I think the Wolves game was a good template. Leeds tend to start like a house on fire and it will be a case of keeping them out and growing into the game. I’m going for a 1-0 win.

All their best attacking is done on the break. If our back 4 don’t come out they won’t score. The bother being that if our FBs don’t come out there’s a good chance we won’t either.

I think when Wolves played at ER they had Boly in defence who makes one heck of a difference for them.

Indeed. But you can see from the stat Wood should be doing better. He's normally clinical but not having a solid partnership I'm sure makes it worse.

In a side like ours when you don't usually have the most chances you need to take them.

Fully agree that their defence is absolutely awful, we should put them under pressure from the get go but I suspect we won’t, we will be compact and hard to get in behind and sit back. Fully need to play for set pieces, corners especially as they are so shocking at set plays. We go into the game capable of taking something from this game which a month ago I don’t think I’d be saying.

Leeds miss to many chances and we won't give them many, unlike Manchester United who offered them on a plate and still won comfortably.

I think there's something sadly wrong if a team who have been in the Premier League for 5 consecutive seasons are fearful of going to a newly promoted club. Let's go there with the mindset to stuff them and show them what we're all about!!

The good thing is the bookies continue to overprice us...newly promoted team heavy favourite against a team established in the prem with 2 recent top ten finishes and reasons for early season poor form that has been quashed over the last 4 games. Even money for Burnley or draw is like printing money (hopefully... ).

Also strange that the draw is a higher price than a claret win...probably because both teams don’t draw too often...

After good runs, we usually lose, with a poor performances against teams like Leeds and Sheff Utd, so I'm really worried about these next two games.

Hope I'm wrong.

We need a win, so I hope we carry on the way we did against Wolves. If we do, I'll go for 1 - 3 Burnley.
