Demerai Gray
Do we know what this kid is like as a person? Would he fit the Dyche mould?

Would seem like a fantastic potential signing?

Re: Demerai Gray
I think he is a great player and would give us more threat on attack. Unfortunately I suspect if those other clubs are interested then we don’t have a chance !

Re: Demerai Gray
I’m not a huge fan. Always thought of him as a tricky but not particularly fast winger and when I’ve seen him he’s been more on the left. Think we need a player with more pace on the right wing.
In an ideal world I’d also prefer players that are playing regularly in Jan. That match sharpness can take a few months to develop so I’d rather we buy any out-of-favour players in summer.

Re: Demerai Gray
Been frozen out. Allbright and Under the Turkish winger both ahead, plus Barnes is usually adopted wide. With three at the back Leicester like to use their fullbacks too-Thomas, Justine and Castagne (just back) are like good wingers. He is a definite winger, with good skills, but a bit like Stanislas, in that defending would not be in his locker

Re: Demerai Gray
I always thought he looked a decent player, but having just looked at his stats, he doesn't score or create a great deal tbh.
Maybe a move and being firsr choice would rejuvenate his career and change that but I wouldn't be expecting to pay a lot for him, especially with 6 mths left on his contract.

For me, Robbie's best position is RM.Woodleyclaret wrote: ↑Tue Dec 22, 2020 3:19 pmWe have two left wingers Robbie and Dwight and one right JBG
Demerai Gray to challenge McNeil for the left? A yes from me.

Re: Demerai Gray
If we could pick him up relatively cheaply I wouldn't say no, he's still only 24, and has the potential to improve, Southampton are seemingly interested, so he might be out of our reach anyway.
He's shown glimpses at Leicester, and he would add that much needed pace we desperately require.

Re: Demerai Gray
Would give us a completely different dimension but can't see it as he isn't a Dyche type player, however ironically it could be exactly what both he and Dyche need.
If he could add a bit of Dyche to his game and bring some of his current game to ours we'd have a hell of a player.

It depends what the kid wants.
Money or playing time.
