Predicting Results

Post by gtclaret » Thu Dec 24, 2020 7:22 pm

Not just BFC and I don't mean the I don't mean the actual score, just home, away, draw. How good are you.,I used to do a pools at the bookmakers every week. Just had to predict 12 home wins and the odds were over 10000/1.Never won, and if I got close, it was always the dead certs that would let me down. It seemed such a doddle, but of course you don't get odds like that for nothing

Only due to lack of custom, or too much competition. Certainly not because of any success I had

If my record on Super6 is anything to go by not very good at all.

Given the bizarre scores this season, I can't see many people being millionaires anytime soon.

I always say I never lose money, I spend it. I gamble what I can afford, and enjoy the odd bit of success

I'm absolutely rubbish, luckily I'm not a gambler.
With BFC though I've taken to predicting defeat, so far it's going well.

We used to sit in the Park View pre match with a Coral coupon from next door, and predict ten homes every home game. We'd check it off back in the Park View afterwards, but we generally knew the results from the announcements as we trooped down and off the Beehole.

One time we had nine verified correct results and were just awaiting to hear of Rangers at home to bottom club St Johnston.

Inevitably, St Johnston won it 0-1 with their only attempt on goal.
