Brownhill 7 ? He was clear mom
In your view - but only just around half of the people who have voted on the MOM have given it to him so not as clear as you think.

Still seething at that equaliser that never was.
Utter, crass incompetence.
They'd have given it any of the Big Six.
Pathetic. Really can't remember being so angry after a game in years.

I thought he was pretty good considering the enormous physical pressure we put him under.

In fact I thought, despite what we're told that Leeds can't defend, especially from dead ball kicks, they defended very well against us.

I suggest this shows our limitations.
Without a doubt it shows our limitations , though SD can only play what he has and with respect to our team who gave their all we were woefully short on quality .

Pope 7 - what he had to deal with did well. Unlucky with the penalty
Lowton 6 - not much going forward and defended ok
Tarks 7 - ok and had to cover quite a few times but did it well
Mee 5 - second half he was ok but LEDs didn’t really offer a lot. First half he was shocking
Taylor 6 - probably marginally better than Lowton going forward but end product was poor
Benson 7 - grew into the game and I liked that his first thought was to go forward
Brownhill 8 - played very well and even better when we went 4-3-4
Westwood 8 - like Brownhill
Pieters 5 - poor touch and have the ball away far too many times
Wood 5 - offered nothing
Barnes 5 - put himself about but sadly I don’t think he’s good enough now for this level

Jay 7 - poor miss but Leeds were scared witless off him. Must start instead of either Barnes or Wood
Stephens 7 - stopped any Leeds counter attack well and set us going forward.

Why we don’t play the formation we finished with I don’t know. We looked a threat and have the players best suited for it.

Enough has been said about the ref elsewhere but our strike force need to wake up. Their movement is poor and easy to defend against. When Brownhill joined in Leeds were rattled because the lad was constantly on the move and quickened the tempo.

Our midfield was devoid of any creativity today and that is the reason we came away pointless, I can't believe anyone scoring above a 6.

We offered nothing out wide throughout. Brownhill and Westwood were anonymous for most of the 1st half the two Leeds lads took them apart it was embarrassing.

2nd half Brownhill got into some good positions but his shooting was pathetic, when instead he should have looked for the pass.

The only time we looked threatening at all was when Tarkowski carried the ball from defence and ran at the Leeds back 3

That really was one of the most disappointing performances from a lack lustre midfield I have seen in some weeks.

I really hope and pray that this takeover is a goer and our manager gets some cash to splash has we are crying out for quality in Central midfield

Wow totally different game then on my TV. My TV showed me a forward line that couldn’t hold a ball up and bring the midfield into play or get into a goal scoring position from any cross

Not a penalty and wasn't worried when it was given as I was sure it would be overturned (Mmmmm  ) After that we were battered by them for 25 minutes, but SHOULD have been level with Barnes' goal which was an even worse decision than the pen. I honestly wonder if the ref was so thrown by wondering if he messed up with the penalty that it affected his entire performance from then on as he wasn't just rubbish on the big decisions, he was rubbish on loads of small ones too and the players were constantly upset with him and he looked out of his depth. After 25 minutes we played pretty well and second half we were so much in control it was almost like an attack v defence training exercise. The fact that we couldn't break them down was ultimately really disappointing, but tbh the awful pitch didn't help and looked like The Prairie circa 1983. I also think we missed having any natural wide players as with all that possession we needed quality crosses into the box and we didn't get enough in, especially bearing in mind their porous back line. One of those games which will leave me fuming for weeks and COULD prove so vital in the final reckoning. Surely the ref will get a behind closed doors bollocking from his bosses and be reffing Southend V Stevenage next week!!

In 61% of people’s view. Over 3 times as many votes as Charlie Taylor in second ! How clear do you want it.
It’s opinion. Just because someone doesn’t agree with you is no reason to start crying about it.

Thought it was a very reasonable performance given the side was patched up. It's hard to legislate for a ref who needs a few more FA courses.

It's not just today we lacked creativity from midfield.
Central midfield is a problem. Brownhill needs to brush his game up. Ball retention and blocks good, but passing and crossing of the ball poor, along with his shooting as he proved yesterday. Central mid is a grey area at the moment, Westwood is having a poor season and Brownhill does not offer enough offensively.

Lets hope Stephens can offer more in the short term, he looked lively and played some positive balls when he came on yesterday

Westy hasn’t been the same player without Cork. I thought Brownhill did ok yesterday although I was pulled up by FCBurnley for not making him man of the match. My concerns are that not much comes from him but I didn’t realise he didn’t even have an assist.

Is Jack Cork's record of goals and assists any good?

As an aside I thought we looked good when we went 4-3-3. Makes sense to not play wingers when you don't have any fit. I'd like to see it from the off on Tuesday. Stephens for Pieters, Jay for Benson. Stephens sits, Westy and especially Brownhill can create. Full backs provide the width. Easy 😝

If Brownhill does play further up, he has to be braver with his passing and look to create something. Jack Cork has been a massive loss and I don't think that Dyche will wait too long to get him back in the starting 11.
