Snow

Post by BenWickes » Mon Dec 28, 2020 6:34 am

Woke up to an unexpected inch or so of snow this morning. Just a heads up, if it's anything like this where you are. The main roads are covered and it's extremely slippy. Be careful out there if you need to venture out.

It shows devotion to your art that you continued taking the photo while falling over. ;) Good photos, though.

Snowmageddon in South Yorkshire today. Let's see if they get a couple of flakes in London, may make the news then.

Looks like snow tonight. Had a nice hike around padiham today and there’s plenty of black ice so take care tomorrow, especially if you’re travelling early.

We're forecast to get some tonight, but they've been predicting that for a few weeks now, and as yet we've only had light flurries, it's bleeding chilly up here mind you, roll on the spring

Proper white out Halifax Road Nelson, was 12 degrees at dinner time, now zero and predicted to snow until tomorrow dinner.
I’ve been working from home looking after 3 kids as the missus was working, but she’s now isolating due to 5 positive COVID tests out of 10 or so staff at the Nursery she works at in Burnley so I arranged to go out and do a job tomorrow first thing!

No snow here in Benalmadena. People were on the beach when I drove past about half an hour ago, 20 degrees and sunny. However if I use my binoculars from my terrace I can see snow caps on the peaks of the Sierra Nevada in the far distance. Does that count?
