Poor but losing Taylor was very disruptive especially with no McNeil. Pleased for Mee who got some unjust stick on here in the last game

Wood 4 can`t buy a goal, poor ball control so a bit suprised when he was chosen for the one up front when his ball retention compared to Barnes is crap, but he does work hard
Barnes 6 for getting into the position to score but has to be more clinical when we are only making few chances per game

Overall a typical 1-0 grind and another 3 points/clean sheet despite it not being the best watch (wasn’t expecting it to be).

Hopefully McNeil back for Fulham to make up for the loss of Taylor. A new winger in January is utmost priority followed closely by a new striker.

I think we were pretty poor especially in the second half
and playing against the worst team in the division
most of our players were at best average in my opinion.
We'll need to up our game against Fulham.
But hey, another 5/6 wins will probably keep us up.

Nowt fancy just a professional job well done

Pope - 6 Not a lot to do but a couple of mistakes that could have been more costly
Lowton - 7 Had a pretty decent game as I’m not his biggest fan
Tarky - 7 Hopefully it was only a twinge he felt 1st half. Steady
Mee - 8 After Leeds he got back to his high level. Great header for the goal under severe pressure by 3 players
Pieters - 7 Did very well after being shifted back there early doors
Benson - 6 Still learning but slotted in nicely after coming on early
Westy - 6 Still quiet by Ashley’s standards but plenty of energy in the middle
Brownhill - 7 Better of the middle 2. Non stop performance
Brady - 6 Good defensively but I want him to be more attacking and try and take on players instead of running inside into trouble
Barnes - 7 Should have buried that chance early but was a nuisance all evening. Should have played 90 minutes
Wood - 3 Where do I start?? He is completely devoid of anything resembling a footballer for the majority of this season. Needs a spell on the side but we are struggling with injuries

Brilliant 3 points but what a stressful team we are to watch as supporters!!!

Someone commented on here recently that 80% of fans don't understand football - I sense people scoring players at 4/5 - 48 hours after a 'leave everything on the pitch' performance at Elland Road - combined with yet more injuries in a season defining game - which we won as relatively comfortably as is possible with a 1-0 scoreline fall into that category

Earby what would you award Chris wood after that performance.

There were times he couldn’t even run without tripping over his own feet. The last two games from wood are up there with some of the worst I have ever seen.

Fidel it’s time to take the claret tinted specs off. That was a shocking performance, couldn’t pass, couldn’t get in good positions, couldn’t hold the ball up. He might as well have not been on the pitch. I have been a fan of his in the past but my lord his form has dropped of a cliff.

Re: Wood - I think the second half needs to be disregarded as Dyche clearly instructed 9 outfield players to play deep. Leaving Wood up top.

First half he was fine, and so was Barnes - without looking at the stats I think both players got cropped a lot.
On another day, that header would've gone in.
