Deleting posts and banning people

MOD: This poster received a 24 hour ban yesterday, not because people disagreed with his comments but because he became offensive. This post has now been removed and accompanied with a a seven day ban. By the time that ban has expired there is every chance that this message board will have been shut down in its current guise because the last two or three days have been a nightmare.
