The birth of my first child this year.

Edir - it's 2021 now! I meant having my first child in 2020 :D

Not sure probably last week. I'm a very emotional person and cry easily but very stable, maybe because I do release any tension when I cry. Just watching wildlife programmes about animals and things like a 3 year old help deliver a new born lamb in "Our Yorkshire farm" can set me off. There is so much shite in the world today that seeing nature at it's best makes me happy but also emotional.

About 10 minutes ago when I read gandhisflipflop's tale about stopping drinking because he'd fell over and chipped a tooth

Birth of my daughter last year, before that it would be the death of my Nan. I always fill up at weddings and funerals, no matter how well I know them. I think seeing someone emotional tends to hit me as well.

Knocked it clean out mate! I have cut down dramatically since it must be said and having a baby has cut out all desire to drink to excess.

I tend not to cry much, but generally have a little tear in my eye when we get tonked at the Etihad,so thinking about it I shed a tear once every year or so.

My Dad wrongly brought me up telling me boys/men don't cry. So I have hardened myself over the years and emotion has largely been compartmentalised/bottled up. Which I have learned is never a good thing.
I don't ever cry when anyone else is present, no matter how upset I am inside but I do shed a tear in private. Last time being last year when we had to euthanise our beloved cat.

I cried tears of joy a few days after Christmas - my third granddaughter has special needs and for Christmas she got a new adult 3 wheeler bike. When my daughter tried to put it together on Christmas Eve there were parts missing, bits that just didn’t fit and the big surprise was a total let down for mum and daughter. However a local cycle repair shop got it all working and refused to take any money for doing it and the video on Facebook (bearing in mind we are in Tier 4 and couldn’t even see family) reduced me to tears.

Only last night the tears fell.
Not out of sadness, but while cutting up a nice onion to go into my stew.

I was a cry baby when I was young so hardened myself and now never cry sad or hurt.
I can fillup over sporting achievements more than anything else. Brits winning world or Olympic titles, unexpectedly, gets me every time. Michael Keanes two equalisers agin BHA & Boro worked a treat.

It wasn't the result as such, more the fact my children would see us in the top flight, something I thought only I would have done back in the 60/70s

Giving it more thought I had a tear in my eye when the vaccine was approved, but not a full cry.

When our daughter survived pneumonia and sepsis two years ago. The night we brought her back from the hospital and she was sleeping peacefully, made a drink and just burst into tears. Not a crier at all and it took me by surprise but must have been pent up emotion.

I felt like I’d just completed a marathon after the game, had a few beers then sat on Wembley way and had a cigar, felt exhausted. Can’t explain the feeling that day, it was different to the birth of my kids, but never felt like that before or since

I think my tear was due to being out at a club the night before and going straight to london from the club in the early hours. We were in london for 9am in the same clothes

March 2020: Couldn't get to grips with first lockdown and was a real mess for a few weeks. Real mental problems.

8 years ago. My Father, 92, was in hospital and he was in a bad way and I knew from the Doctor that he had only hours, maybe days, to live. I sat by his bedside through the night reading a book. He was breathing normally then he suddenly gave two quick breaths and he had gone. I ran to fetch the Nurse but couldn't get the words out as I was crying and spluttering. I was 61 years old.

Getting promoted to the PL. It must have been a release from the football endured since 82.
