Re: Utd v City
City also had a goal disallowed, both correct decisions. City hit the post.

Re: Utd v City
I agree with the post the other day that City are awful to watch at times. The Chelsea performance was outstanding though ill give them that

Re: Utd v City
Now come on FF they've not played half an hour yet
Re: Utd v City
Why do they take so long to put the offside flag up ?

Re: Utd v City
It's apparently the new rule now, they have to let play flow, I do agree it's daft when the decision is so clear, and as others have commented, sooner or later a serious injury will occur on one of these occasions

Re: Utd v City
It's not been a bad game to say no goals and few chances. Some good football to watch.
Re: Utd v City
There could have been one after the last decision

Re: Utd v City
2-0 Fernandinho, another semi-final, and another failure by Ole, that's 4 in a row now.
A great few days for City closing in on the PL top dogs, and another final looms large, they really like this competition don't they.

Re: Utd v City
It’s a damn shame they can’t both lose.

Great to see Manure getting beaten by Citeh..
Re: Utd v City
If we defend as well as we can do we have every chance of beating Man U. next week.

You knew he was going down before he even got in the box. Downright cheating, but no punishment whatsoever...Funkydrummer wrote: ↑Wed Jan 06, 2021 9:42 pmWe'll have to be mindful of Martial diving about all over the place.
Disgraceful little get.
Disgraceful, yet not at all surprising.

Re: Utd v City
What really worries me is that had the ref given a penalty, I have no faith that VAR wouldn have overturned it because there was a slight brush before he threw himself to the ground

You could see the look on his face in the slow mo and you could tell exactly what he was going to do.
No booking, no reprimand whatsoever.

Wins for Barca and Juve, PSG held 1-1 at Saint-Étienne in Poch's 1st game in charge, the leaders Lyon won so they are now 3 points ahead.

Re: Utd v City
A repeat of a year ago would be nice we will have to defend well though, and possibly have a stroke of luck, what encourages me is United shipped both goals from set-pieces tonight, so that's an area where we might get some joy.
Re: Utd v City
United defended the free kick that let to the goal very poorly. Something we are very capable of exploiting!

Re: Utd v City
A Manager pushing Rashford out wide and starting Martial as central striker deserves defeat.
Regarding the first goal I don't think there was enough praise given for the free kick by Foden.
