No nay never bitter

Post by cblantfanclub » Wed Jan 06, 2021 8:59 pm

Christmas gift of No nay never bitter, Longside lager and the stout. Just opened a couple of them (lager and bitter) and surprised how good they are. The lager has great flavour and is a real cut above your average pub lager. The bitter is especially good with lots of flavour and great balance , not too malty like so many nowadays. Obviously not to everybodies taste but a quality product shame it's so pricey.

Hope we start selling it on the turf. I much prefer IPA’s, but would take an decent lager and maybe even bitter over Carlsberg!

They used to sell the bitter on draught in the Miners (don't know if they still do) so I tried one because of the name. It was a cracking, creamy pint.

Very often have it on in Sycamore Farm.

A lovely pint if kept properly.

Got a 6 pack of the bitter. Gave my dad 5 for NYE and kept 1 for myself so we could both have a beer together at midnight (5 miles apart)
In the end I couldn’t bring myself to open it, so it’s sat in my office next to my Bottle of Batch European cup gin.

Wasn’t cheap, think it was £3 a can for 330ml?

Not sure it's the same beer. This one says its brewed by Hops and Shots Chorley. It describes itself as a light coloured beer with hintsof tropical fruits and spicy aftertaste . Whatever I'm getting g a real taste for it and the lager.
