Ryan Nyambe

Post by nyclaret » Thu Jan 07, 2021 2:20 pm

I might get some stick for this but I wouldn’t mind us having a look at Ryan Nyambe from those lot down the road. 23 year old RB. Well over 100 appearances. Possesses the attributes you’d want in a modern full back. Plus it would be nice to see their fan base go into meltdown having signed one of their own.

The only thing I'd take from that shower is some of their blue seats if we needed them as spares for the James Hargreaves lower.

According to his wiki page, he can play anywhere across the back 4.

Anything that weakens their squad and upsets their fickle fans should be welcomed on here.

They still haven't got over us signing Peter Devine from them.

I’m always quite impressed with him whenever I see a rovers game. Think he’d be a good signing for not much expenditure.
Work with some rovers fans who say he’s a good un too

I haven’t got over us playing Peter Devine. He was shockingly bad.
The nightmares about him had disappeared , I just hope you mentioning him doesn’t bring them back!

For every Peter Devine there's a Keith Newton.

There's only two players i'd be interested in from them down the road, Harvey Elliot (on loan from Liverpool) and Adam Armstrong.

Who was the defender we once signed on loan from Blackburn who couldn't get in their team, came to us to learn how to play, and was virtually an ever-present at Ewood when he went back? Must be a while ago now.

Jay McEvely? Did his knee at Mansfield away I think in the FA Cup and that was the end of his loan spell.

Andy Todd was quality from memory too.

Nyambe is a very good player, would definitely be worth a look.
