Who do you fancy in the next round?
Re: Who do you fancy in the next round?
The magic of the cup might be one of the reasons Mr Pace was so attracted to English football. Sean Dyche might have to change his usual strategy.

I think I'm correct in saying Fulham have never beat us in the FA Cup
I've done it now though!

He's usually gone fairly strong in the FA Cup which is probably why in all the time he's been here we've only once lost to a team from a lower division - the League Cup admittedly is something different.

Might have been mentioned, but why did they draw 4th and 5th rounds ?

Nice memory. I recollect the goal you mention but not the context. For me the most memorable games were from my childhood in the 70’s mainly. My dream of a Burnley victory involves a very clear image in my head of Peter Noble climbing those famous steps and lifting the trophy in front of us adoring clarets. No plastic foil ticker tape or fake fireworks in sight.FactualFrank wrote: ↑Mon Jan 11, 2021 7:44 pmDo you remember Di Matteo's strike? The pre-match started with that his sister was blind. WIll always remember this. The commentary was superb, showing her when he scored. I think it hit a lot of people emotionally.
That to me was a perfect example of how it mattered to different people for different reasons.
Sadly it was just a dream.

Fulham will need the PL points just as much as us so they are likely to make changes too
Think we have a decent chance and hope Glennon, Benson and Mumbongo are involved again

Fulham away isn't the most glamourous game, but get through that and we've got a great chance of making the last 8, the is how much will SD want us to progress, we've avoided all the big boys for a change, so we should at least make an effort to keep our cup run going as long as we can.

Didn't we beat Fulham in the "Capital Punishment" run in 2008

Re: Who do you fancy in the next round?
It’s not a glamorous tie however
Fulham
Then possibly Bournemouth or Crawley for a place in the last 8
I’d take that over City away
