Assuming you are correct and no other injured players are returning, the team picks itself, the only other option is Wood

Go on I'll ask - who is Stephenson?

Right thinking it through I presume it was an auto correct for Benson?

I was trying to think if it was a nickname or we had snook a signing in. :)

We need to start Corkson... a very hard bollocking from his father.

I’m not having the best of times with auto correct. “Stephens”

Potentially two centre midfielders out and no mention of Tarky to midfield.

What's happened to this board?

Cunning way of playing Stephens and Benson with nobody noticing.

Reading between the lines, Dunne, Long and BPF must have been 3 of them - all 3 would definitely have been involved at the weekend, I'm sure. So that would mean one of Westwood/Brownhill was rested/injured and one was positive. I would guess Brownhill was positive only based on who he mates around with within the squad. But I am just speculating, obviously...

In his after match interview Dyche said Long had been injured in training. So, if there are 4 Covid victims, you would have to assume they are BPF, Dunne, Westwood and Brownhill.

SD says he's hopeful on a couple of the covid ones, they've been retested again but haven't trained for 10 days.

From the BBC:

Sean Dyche begins by providing an injury update on his squad, ahead of his side's game with Manchester United.

"Nick Pope is fine, Charlie Taylor is touch and go, along with Jay Rodriguez and Dwight McNeil," said Dyche.

"We're waiting on news for Kevin Long's ankle knock. We'll wait and see on Ashley Westwood, Josh Brownhill, Jimmy Dunne and Bailey Peacock-Farrell, but we're really hopeful.

"We're hopeful the lads that missed it [FA Cup win over MK Dons] on the weekend through the COVID-19 situation, could be around it."

Can only assume from the U23 team announcement that Mumbongo, Glennon, Benson, Thompson are all included in the squad for United from there omission today

As soon as I read 'touch and go' my heart sank.

At least some common sense has prevailed by playing the other missed fixture

Pope
Lowton Tarks Mee Pieters
JBG Westwood Brownhill Brady
Barnes Wood

Would personally like to see Bardsley and Vydra play in place of Wood and Lowton.
