Odds on because, to be generous, he did pretty much nothing tonight.nonayclaret wrote: ↑Tue Jan 12, 2021 9:58 pmThe odds-on scapegoat is now off. Who will the guns turn on next?

Re: Burnley v Manchester United - Match Thread
It's worth remembering that we're struggling mostly because man united have a lot better footballers than us. We've definitely been worse second half, but Man United have been much, much better too. Not much Dyche can do, but it's frustrating to watch. One of those 45 minutes where you think fu*k the Premier league. Now, watch us equalise.

No there's no excuse and the little old Burnley **** doesn't fly anymore.
Find another excuse. Look at the technical area

Wood isn’t a bad player. It just wasn’t his game, he should have been swapped after half time.
It’s almost as if Dyche waits until the loss is assured before making a sub to affect the game.

Re: Burnley v Manchester United - Match Thread
Exactly did anyone really think we'd play United off the park tonight, our best chance was keeping it tight, which for the most part we have, and pinching something at a set-piece, losing to a rejuvenated Man Utd will have little impact on whether we survive or not, for the record I think we'll be fine, as we pick up the points we need in the crucial games, and ultimately that's what counts at the end of the season.

I think the lads get every credit, but feel they are restricted by the lack of options allowed by the manager at times. Still hopefull if Vydra can get one from six inches out.nonayclaret wrote: ↑Tue Jan 12, 2021 9:58 pmThe odds-on scapegoat is now off. Who will the guns turn on next?

Nail on the headConroy92 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 12, 2021 9:58 pmFor perspective, the game at half time was fairly balanced. United have changed it and pushed Pogba forward, instead of countering this we've carried on and watched us get pumped for 20mins. We've two centre forwards on who have offered extremely little for weeks. We have changed it now with ten mins remaining and at one nil down. At 0-0 we could have gone for this game. We might still have got pumped but I want to see us change things rather than just sitting watching the inevitable coming.

McGuire gets away with handball in the box.
Re: Burnley v Manchester United - Match Thread
What's the difference between that handball and the Fernandez one in the earlier game?

Re: Burnley v Manchester United - Match Thread
I get your points folks. I’d have changed things earlier if I were SD. We do need to change things sooner. But we do need to be realistic. There’s no need for arguing. We’ve been done by a better team in the 2nd half.
