We’ve won as many as those two combined!

But yes, we have to score more goals, no doubt.
But simply we can't survive purely depending on keeping clean sheets.
We can't rely on scoring first and holding out... or not conceding first.

Hoping that we start putting away a few of our few chances and keeping it tight - is where we are at.
Plus crossing our fingers non of the main players getting injuries / or being unable to play etc.

As long as our defence remains fit then we probably can. We've done it time and again, so no reason to believe we can't do that for the rest of the season.

We are arguably one of the best teams at sitting on leads, especially in those winnable games.

Only five teams are better defensively than us. We have conceded 21 goals and 15 of those were in 4 games, therefore, we have conceded 6 goals in 12 matches. The other 12 games we have won 4, drawn 4 and lost 4 scored 6 and conceded 6 and picked up 16 points.
We just need to keep working hard and start scoring more goals --simple ---when you are sat on your sofa! :D

Can't see Palace getting dragged in, Newcastle on the other hand are dropping like a stone, and could find themselves in a 4 way battle with us, Brighton & Fulham for that last spot, the bottom 2 can't be totally written off, but it's looking grim for both.
Newcastle are in the mix for sure..rather them than Fulham for the drop.

Fulham are playing well, only lost one of their last seven games and that was to City
Interesting to note that of the bottom 10 sides Wolves along with WBA have produced the fewest points from the last five games
I don't see, based on table so far, that WBA and Sheff Utd will get to the 30 point mark by the end of the season
Brighton and Newcastle look most likely to be involved with us for the last spot as they are not winning games and add into that mix Fulham and Palace
Goals/ wins will be the saviour of any teams season this year and it probably only needs about six of them

With regards to the last five games, we have seven points, Fulham five, Brighton three.

I fancy Fulham to stay up now. Think Brighton are in big trouble, they just don't look capable of winning games.

Arsenal v Palace tonight

One of the rare occasions when I will be hoping for an Arsenal win, or draw at best for Palace
