Re: West Ham v Burnley - Match Thread
Far far too easy for WHU this. We’re on our heels and even as a defender of Barnes, he has offered nothing at all so far. We need a major rethink at half time.

Brady playing well again

On a positive note, this team drives a man to drink.

Not like Wood to go down like that.
Re: West Ham v Burnley - Match Thread
Dawson elbows Wood, but we’re clutching at straws if we want anything from that

Re: West Ham v Burnley - Match Thread
Hook the two disgraceful lumps up top for the footballers on the bench and we can get something out of this second half.
Re: West Ham v Burnley - Match Thread
Wood caught in the right ear.
Decision - Wood offside.

Unsure what Wood’s moan is about there.

My 5 year old daughter can shoot harder than most of the Burnley team’s efforts so far today

If I was Vydra I’d be handing in a transfer request after this game.

This is nearly as bad as the MK Dons game. We are totally bereft of ideas.

Get McNeil on - I'm sure he can last a half.

Good result so far kept it only 0-1 at half time despite being pretty poor. Common Burnley. Let's see a positive change in the second half.

Re: West Ham v Burnley - Match Thread
Going off the first half performance, I’m not sure it’s David Moyes that’s the footballing dinosaur...
Changes, please.

Handbags...Dawson elbow for Wood push.
Re: West Ham v Burnley - Match Thread
Well that was really, really poor.
If Alan is watching this, he’s probably realising he might need to increase the loan!

Re: West Ham v Burnley - Match Thread
We’ve had 56% possession. THAT’S the problem right there. We need to be aiming for 40% at the most.

Dwight on for Brady. Vyds on for Barnes (Wood needed for set pieces).

Re: West Ham v Burnley - Match Thread
We're only 1-0 down.
We have more possession, better passing accuracy, more shots and just as many on target as them.
To be fair they scored against the run of play.
We can still get back in this. Need to get riled up second half.

Re: West Ham v Burnley - Match Thread
I would be bringing McNeil, Rodriguez and Vydra on at half time.
Barnes and Wood have been great players for us, but this form is awful and Dyche has been very patient. I had hoped the criticism they had received (even publicly from Dyche) might get a reaction, but this today is just a continuation of what’s been seen. Time for a change or three.

Re: West Ham v Burnley - Match Thread
No quality in the final third, exactly the same as it has been for weeks now.
I want Wood and Barnes to start firing as much as anyone else but when are the coaching staff going to try something different? It might not work but at least give something a go!
