What a relief, Huw.
We'd certainly miss out on Round 5 if Longsider took charge! - Hell; that's terrifying!
The Ancient Rules do however stipulate that a Count Commodity must be fruit, pulse or vegetable in nature, and certainly not of animal flesh.

Rules query, Sir.
If I was to choose a particularly gungey joose would it be permissible to add a precise measurement of hot water, to ease flow, and then deduct that amount from the final ml total?

Yes, Huw. That is indeed a recognised Counting Procedure.
Nonethless, water or juice are much easier to work with, and personally I avoid the high-viscosity stuff altogether. But it's your Count!
By the way, shall I again take care of the leaderboard?
UTC!!
