Hard to see past a defeat here, but I don't think it'll be a drubbing, 2-0 to the Scousers sadly.

If we can keep them to 2 or 3 it won't be too bad. Can easily turn in to a thumping. If we can come out of the next league games with some confidence, even if they are defeats, it would be nice.

All depends on our team news. If Taylor comes back that will give McNeil more support and hopefully he will be able to supply crosses for Wood to miss and Barny or Jayrod to put away.

McNeil looked lively and refreshed against West Ham

Lowton is beginning to find some form and his crosses are definitely improving

By the law of averages our luck in front of goal will improve

Brady is working extremely hard and playing well

Taylor will probably be fit for tonight’s game

Cork nearing full match fitness

There’s always a bit of optimism with us but it’s a free hit so who cares ,if we get anything it’s a huge bonus . Ironically we may possibly ? be fielding a full strength side which seems like ages and ages ago ( Taylor/Dwight/Jay/JBG/Cork etc)

Yes I tend to agree those 4 games are our best chance of picking up points in the near future, 7/8 points from that bunch, and beating Brighton & West Brom, and the table could look very different in a few weeks. I don't expect anything tonight, so if we get a result it'll be a bonus for me.

The key thing is Sheff Utd, West Brom & Fulham are all still treading water, and their inability to string results together has allowed us some breathing space, despite our last couple of defeats we've still got a 4 point buffer to the drop zone, things aren't great but they could be a lot worse, and we will pick up wins against the lower half sides, because that's what we do in this league.

If we get as far as the 80th minute still level, which I doubt, then:-
1. there will be incessant diving, rolling around and simulation from the champions, plus generally u sporting antics on the touchline from their coach and
2. the game will last 90+anything up to 9 extra minutes (provided that the number of extra minutes shall be limited by no more than 30 seconds-worth after the red team scores).

I disagree with the bottom 3 all losing this week, anything we got at Anfield is a bonus, I just hope we try and put their makeshift defence under pressure, if we can do that we should get chances, now whether we can take them is another matter.

If we’re unchanged, with the 2 lumps up front, 3 or 4 nil to Liverpoo. BUT, if SD finally decides to change it, like in 2nd half at West Ham, we may just surprise em, like the back end of last season.
