Glad to see Taylor back. Disappointed he hasn't taken a chance in changing the front two though.

Interesting that on Twitter the first thing people complain about is that Wood and Barnes are starting - and don't realise or aren't bothered that Taylor is back.

Yep, same for me. Still, some positives.

Dynamic duo starting, let's hope they live up to the trust Dyche has put in them.

Salah & Firminho on the bench - not bad

Never in a million years would I have predicted that he'd start with that front 2. Earth shattering.

Lets hope they've had the confidence boost/kick up the arse to getting them playing like we all know they can. This has to be their last chance before the other 2 get a crack. It must be so deflating for Vydra and Jrod

Wood & Barnes again ?
Must be demoralising for Vydra and Jay Rod knowing they could almost certainly do better for the start..

Brady and Lowton to stifle Mane

Would have preferred to see Brownhill WR and Cork in middle

Is Matip starting for the scousers ?

It's good that Taylor and McNeil are starting
but surely it's last chance saloon for Wood and Barnes.
They have to perform well and hopefully score one or two.

Please.

Have to say the front two comes as no surprise. Let’s hope it works. I think nearly everyone would have hoped j rod started tonight.
McNeil and Taylor together. Good news!

When was the last time we had everybody fit? Opinions will differ on who should/shouldn't start but we have good options from the bench - Taylor's return is a massive plus - especially paired with McNeil on the left

Being devils advocate (in the true sense of the name) maybe the excitement and happiness that Taylor is back has been completely overshadowed by the ‘other thing’

Apparently around a year since we had a fully fit side to choose from.

Would’ve started Jay personally. Unless he isn’t fully fit I see no reason why not.

Is that a completely fit 1st choice squad for the first time this season?

I doubt that it's last chance saloon considering we're playing the champions away.

I have to say I am disappointed with the starting line-up but pleased to see Taylor back. Our attempts at goal in the last few games has been poor to say the least, so I'm not confident of a decent display at all. I hope I'm proved wrong with and we get a result.

Good to see Taylor and McNeil back in , hopefully to feed the crosses in to our front two , who hopefully can bully their centre halves

I have given the front 2 much grief for their poor (IMO) performances lately, but to be fair to them the Liverpool defence is ripe for their antics tonight and I hope they get some confidence back with whatever chances they get.

Fully behind them tonight.

I’d rather they manage a shot on target than bully them.....

I thought West Ham was the last chance saloon as apparently Wood always performed well there.

Got to be tough for the other two strikers, seeing their competition in such poor form and still they can't get a start. It's one of the few positions we have genuine competition for and he won't change it up, even when it isn't working.

For once, it's the team I went with in the match preview and the one I'd have selected if everyone is fit. Really good to have Charlie back and Dwight in front of him. At some point we need them back playing like they were last season.

You'd have played 2 non-scoring strikers?

Taylor straight back in after injury
Dwight straight back in after 45 mins
Jay well how long does he need?

At some time we need Wood and Barnes just back playing ;)

Evening all from a dry but cold Galway .
Well all set for the off as we start level and to be honest if we ended up that way i would be very happy .

Based on the fact that at 9.00pm tonight when the second half gets underway it will be the 21st hour of the 21st day of the 21st year of the 21st century I'm going for a 2-1 scoreline tonight. But in Burnleys favour of course :)

It's not that wood and Barnes arnt getting chances, it's the chances they miss that is the problem
