Barnes is now so bad the only thing he does in 80mins is back in to defenders and attempt to win freekicks, and he does that badly too. Flapping about on the ground and waving this arms around is despair moaning. He’s actually a disgrace to the Premier League. He’s finished. Anyone that disagrees is deluded
Actually, I’d say that flapping about dramatically is very much premier league!

I’m with you Dom but I’m guessing Dyche is looking at this and thinking one last go with Wood and Barnes as Taylor and McNeil are back- plus its vs Liverpool so we’re not expecting anything.

Someone has mentioned recently that Wood and Barnes defend set pieces well.
Probably true.

Hilarious that Jay not being fully fit has been trotted out for weeks now. Along with Wood and Barnes probably won't play again if they don't score this time.

Add to the fact when Barnes wasn't fully fit, he walked straight back in.

Dyche thinks that Wood and Barnes are our best forwards and present our biggest chance of winning points. It’s pretty simple. It’s fine that you disagree with him, but that’s why he’s playing them.
Clearly but the stats prove he's wrong and don't mention appearances as a come back for the other 2. If you wanna be real then talk minutes on the pitch

Get into a great position and then we don’t cross it, but pass it back to our half. So frustrating!

Not sure how that proves him wrong. You'd need some stats to show that we score more goals when Wood and Barnes don't play to prove that.

Of course it proves him wrong when our main 2 strikers aren't scoring. And I would love to provide you with some stats for the other 2 but they never get a proper chance of a run of games. Do you think klopp or pep would stick with these 2 given their lack of goals? No I'm pretty sure they would change it. Strikers are there to score and the goal stats show they aren't so I'm unsure as to why you're confused

Im confused because your stat doesn't show that other strikers would do better, it only shows how our current strikers are doing. Its not complicated.
