Edited forwards scores watched game again and with the scraps they had to feed on they did extremely well, 2 more points to Wood one more to Barnes.

Taylor 6 didn’t do much. Hope he’s not out for long.

McNeil 8 pretty impressive. Beat his man countless times. Just didn’t quite whip in the perfect ball. Always has plenty of joy against Trent.
Wood 7 not much more he can do. Gave it everything got nothing back but stick with him.
Barnes 8 decent game. Earned a pen and slotted it away.

Pieters 9 just wanted to single him out. Came on and won absolutely bloody everything. Impressive

popes save alone deserves a 10, also proof yet again he is far and away best keeper in england. brilliant.

Nothing below 8 from me because that was absolutely sensational. The two front men were outstanding, the midfield behind them were and how good was McNeil? Then the goalkeeper and back four. I've gone with Tarkowski for MOM just ahead of Pope and Mee.

Forget the crap about Liverpool not playing well. That was something else from our boys last night and I agree with dandeclaret, take a look at yourselves if you are awarding any ratings of 5 and 6.

What a win. For all their huff and puff they didn’t create much. Barnes and McNeil tormented their markers all night. Keeper being up for 30 seconds isn’t something I’ve ever seen. Two things certain - we ain’t going down, they ain’t winning the league
