For anybody still concerned that win has dragged these clubs back into our reach.

Bottom 3 in danger of being cast adrift, I'm taking anything for granted, but even if carry on with our current PPG ratio, we'll finish between 40-44 points at a rough guess, even just doubling our current points tally would give us 38, which should be plenty to survive. And it's worth bearing in mind that we've still to play most of those teams at home, plus we've already gained victories over Palace, Wolves & Sheff Utd, so without counting any chickens I'd be fairly confident of at least 2/3 wins out of those fixtures, I'd certainly rather be in our place than any of the bottom 3 that's for sure.

1 point behind wolves and Leeds if we beat Fulham which is our game in hand. Crazy

I think Brighton need to worry. I dont think they have enough about them.

For what we lack in ability we have fight and determination and a cracking back 5. Thats crucial.

It's actually rather a shame that on the surface that result hasn't made a massive difference to how the table looks.

Due to goals scored, mate. They have scored eight more than we have.

Not for long, they seem determined to hit the bottom three.

Leeds always run out of gas second half of the season. We are the opposite. I defjnitely think we will finish above them.

I don't think Fulham & West Brom will agree, I've already written Sheff Utd off, and the wins this week for Brighton and ourselves have probably put the final nail in their coffin, with the form of the bottom sides 7 points is a big gap, effectively they have to win 3 games to just get on level terms with us, and they haven't exactly been churning out the victories have they.

Amazing that Newcastle are still level only level on points with us considering the dreadful run they’ve been on.

In the next round of fixtures WBA play City, so you'd expect a City win, and Sheff Utd play away at Man Utd, so you'd expect a Man Utd win, leaving Fulham v Brighton as the most interesting fixture.

So, do we want a fulham win, to keep Brighton down there and interested, or do we want a Brighton win so that there is a 7, 8 or 10 point gap (depending on our own result) between us and fulham?

Fulham are the exact opposite of us in many ways. Some very talented players but refuse to play in a style that is most likely to help them stay up. Far too open. I hope Brighton beat them to put as much distance between us and the bottom 3 as possible.

Speaking of Fulham, is Cairney injured? Noticed he hasn't been playing. Wouldn't mind him.

If the correct result had been given at Bellend Road (ie. Leeds 0-1 Burnley) then we'd be 14th on 22 points and Leeds would be 15th on 20 points.

As much as I’d love Brighton to get relegated, it suits us for them to beat Fulham in my opinion. If they beat them and we can nab a point or three against Villa they’ll be hugely adrift and lose hope/fight.

Draw please. Wins breed confidence and those two teams have really struggled to find them.
