Good, he's a decent manager and always good for a "straight talking" quote/reaction. Bluebirds are badly in need of a lift, since mid December they've lost 5 league games in a row and exited the FA cup. Plummeting down the league.

Not aware but could be, sort of manager Dyche does get on with.

It’s a cost cutting exercise by Cardiff apparently, they’ve lots of Malky Mackay’s old training kit left. 😀😀

Very impressive job he's doing at the Bluebirds. Ten undefeated now under MM, thrashed Derby 4-0 last night,
going up into the play off positions.

Maybe up to the PL, definitely if they keep this form up.

Talking of impressive jobs has anyone seen the job the new guys at Bradford City are doing. Two points above the relegation zone when McCall was sacked, now twenty points above and pushing for a playoff place.

Was an unpopular choice too when he went in but, that season at Sunderland apart, I think he's been a good manager. The Ipswich fans did all they could to drive him out, a year later they were back down in League One. He was heavily linked with the Burnley job once (I'm assuming it was when Sean Dyche came in). Although we landed on our feet with Sean, at the time I wouldn't have been disappointed to get McCarthy.

His assistant on those videos is I think Terry Connor, who scored against us at White Hart Lane in the LC quarter final before we came back in the second half and trounced them 4-1 with a hat trick from Billy Hamilton! Whenever I see him I always think back to that night!

I pair him up with Steve Bruce. Too good for the Championship can’t cut it in PL.

Noticed at weekend they had moved up quite a bit in the table, Jimmy Floyd as also done well since returning to Burton Albion

That was Terry Gibson and Hamilton scored 2 not 3. The other 2 coming from Spurs centre half Graham Roberts.

Terry Gibson scored for Spurs in the game you refer to right at the start of the second half. Visually it is very difficult to get the two confused.

He's commented on that one. He said that one of the players must have been having a laugh because they screamed "gaffer" as if he was about to get pelted by a ball.

It's almost like one of the "wrong" photos on an RIP thread, except I really wasn't taking the p**s!!! DEFINITELY my age catching up with me!!! (I feel a bit silly and I'm just hoping I got away with it and nobody noticed! Except the 3 who already pulled me up on it!!)

Talking of cracking jobs in the Championship, what a run Barnsley are on! Up into the top 6 after winning 3-1 at QPR tonight (another goal for Charlie).

Mick McCarthy's 1000th game as a manager tonight, it finished 0-0 at Huddersfield who missed a penalty, 11 unbeaten for the Bluebirds under MM now, I don't know what his secret is, but he's clearly got the midas touch at that level.
