Rovers

Post by huw.Y.WattfromWare » Sun Jan 24, 2021 4:51 pm

Turned them on at our HT and Dael Fry was just being taken off after being kicked in the face by Davenport. Sky guys and Colin all thought it was a pen.
Now they are winning 0-1. Boro missing Fry.
It was Branthwaite, not Davenport.

Hard to fathom how a penalty wasn't given!

And the commentator said as the final whistle blew "and one of the giants of English football are rising again"

They're 9th in an awful league, with the most money of any team being pumped in and cannot string 2 or 3 wins together, and that's with their 5 pens and 4 opposition players sent off theyve had already this season!

Armstrong is a great talent. Despite not playing in our formation, he’s definitely a player we should look at.

It’s amazing how the leagues down the pyramid keep going. Well played to our plucky part time neighbours

I think it’s that one where their top scorer is a bank clerk during the week

If that foot had made contact with Sir Ben Mee's head, the lad would have come off worst.

Yep.
He'd have been a foot shorter.

I think the picture is misleading and would be one of them that looks different from different angles. As much as it is careless and probably a pen if you look closely there is another rovers player between him and Fry (pair of Orange boots) I think, although I haven’t looked properly, that he is in fact unsighted.

I only support two teams, Burnley and whoever's playing Rovers, now go and wash your mouth out

I doubt either will make the top 6 anyway so it's a moot point.

The guy has put his foot up and raked his studs down the Boro players face. Whether he meant it or not it’s dangerous play and a red card and penalty.

Just nearly reported you by accident the buttons for it and quote are too close together on mobile certainly when you are using your elbows.

I haven’t talked about red card so haven’t argued against it and mentioned that it was probably a pen, my point was that it looks worse than it is, in my opinion.

I think the post below yours shows it was every bit as bad as it looked.

The reality is the way they are playing Stanley are looking a fair bet to be playing Rovers next season. Think about that one. 😂😂😂
