Gareth Ainsworth looks like he's part of a death metal rock band

Come on Wycombe the more big boys that go out early the better for us.

Still think Spurs will come back and win, but Jose might have to turn to his bench, he has got a couple of decent subs in the form of Kane & Son to bring on.

He is, born in Blackburn and got a season ticket at 6 years old according to Wiki.

So with that and hating Jose since that Goals on Sunday interview when he disgracefully talked about our club and Ashley Barnes let's hope both managers are sent off!

Credit to Wycombe they've forced Jose to introduce Kane & Son to prevent this tie going to ET, whatever happens now they've pushed Spurs all the way and for that alone they can be proud.

3-1 is about right on the balance of play, but Spurs have made hard work of this tie, and it's taken the subs to win them the game.

4-1 is flattering I admit, but Tottenham deserved to win the game, is it their year, after all the year does end in one, a Burnley-Spurs final now that would bring back the memories, and we definitely owe them after 62 and 09 :)

Lower league teams always seem to concede a few in the last ten minutes against PL sides. I wonder if it’s fitness and concentration or just the quality of subs that can be brought on. A combination of all 3 I suppose.

Ainsworth looks as much like a football manager as Vera Duckworth would!
Comes across well though.

I was wondering the same thing, it certainly helps when you can bring on subs of the quality Spurs can, and Wycombe were chasing the ball for most of the 2nd half, so it's only natural fatigue will kick in mentally and physically, and once the 2nd goal goes in they have to try and respond, and there's no better team on the break than Spurs.

When Wycombe got promoted last season there were many comments on social media from rival League One fans complaining they are hoofball, worst team to watch, time wasters, thugs etc very much other Premier League fans comments against us.

Seems opposing fans, no matter what league, cannot see a team on a much limited budget to theirs do well without having the complaints.
