Our new signing ?
Re: Treva Etienne
I won't keep people hanging,
He's the chap starting alongside Nicholas Lyndhurst and Buster Merryfield in Gold's episode of Only fools and horses at 7pm. According to the sky TV guide.
This is political correctness gone absolutely bonkers and a borderline national disgrace.
He plays the Vicker who did Damian's christening

It's another show of box ticking.

Re: Treva Etienne
Remember him from London's Burning.
Re: Treva Etienne
Treva Etienne, Nicholas Lyndhurst and Buster Merryfield.
No mention of David Jason.
The main man not mentioned but a bloke who has a 6 minute part is. I wonder why?
World's going mad.

Re: Treva Etienne
Just a thought but maybe the Sky TV Guide people got the cast listing in order of appearance and just listed the first three.

Re: Treva Etienne
I’m amazed anybody would even notice that, then B, see it as political correctness
Re: Treva Etienne
I'm amazed by it aswell to be fair, I only looked at the guide to see which episode were being shown.
The episode after listed the three main actors and the two actresses, no mention of the actors that played Trigger, Boyce, Mike etc etc,
Political correctness is probably wrong, Box ticking and keeping snowflakes happy may have been better.
Three years ago I probably wouldn't have noticed that but with the world we are living in that we must keep everyone happy it stood out like sore thumb.

A perfect example of someone finding an issue when there is not an issue.
Re: Treva Etienne
To be fair. I think you are reading way too much into it. If you're referring to OFAH it's a given that Sir David Jason is in it. Lyndhurst aside all the characters are peripheral characters but deserve a mention.
I was watching a movie last night that didn't mention an actor who percentage wise was in more scenes than anyone else. Nothing PC about it as those mentioned I'd never heard of but it was not listed based on gender or colour.
I think it's quite refreshing to list other actors. I mean. Let's pick Die Hard for example. We all know who plays John McLean. I like to know who plays peripheral roles. The afore mentioned movie I watched also starred Amelia Fox and you have to look hard to find her in the credits, let alone the Guide description. Yet she was one of the more familiar faces. Dame Judi Dench was listed at the end of the opening credits and if you blinked you'd have missed it but then she doesn't need an introduction. Neither does Sir David.

Be keen to see more of this character. Lot of comedic potential.
