Managers who get under your skin
Following on from the similar Players thread there must be a few managers past and present who get right under people’s skin.
For me i despise Billy Davies, Neil Lennon and Owen Coyle. Don’t think they need much explanation.

Pep and recently Klopp. Both great managers but will do anything to deflect from their own deficiencies and the budgets they have respective to most teams they force.

There are a number but Allardyce is way out ahead in the dislikability stakes with Warnock some distance behind but still performing strongly in second place.

BFS .why does he have to chew constantly with his mouth open dribbling ?
Swanseas fish eyed manager is a face for radio
But my main beef is why all directors have to show managers and owners during live games and particular the bandit who runs WHU with his fake Russian hat and coat straight off Campden surplus store

Re: Managers who get under your skin
I know a lot about Westley from when he was at Preston but we’ve never come up against him.
Johnson was the one who kicked a ball onto the pitch when we’d broken through thus getting the game stopped. It was his antics that day that persuaded us to switch the dug outs to stop the away manager getting at the linesman.

Re: Managers who get under your skin
All of them, without exception.
Ok. Maybe one exception.
Seriously tho, they are all lying mardy tools, incapable of being objective about any decision in any game that doesn’t go their way. I’m all for winning but I’d sooner lose with integrity than cheat my way to success.
There are those who attempt to excuse this cheating behaviour by claiming it’s their extraordinary will to win, but it’s really just cheating. And in extreme cases (Alex Ferguson) it’s bullying.

Yes i was at Swansea when the weasel was legging round the pitch like he'd won the world cup, however he has a long way to go to match the antics of Captain Smug BFS.

" one eyed Arsene "
Colin .... a shoe-in
Graham Westley
Jose ...doesn't get under my skin, just a profound dislike, and a wish to see him try and achieve anything at Morecambe/Rochdale on a budget of Sweet f**k all ...
Managers deserving of great respect ...
Jock Stein
Bob Paisley & Bill Shankly
Fergie ... begrudgingly
Brian Clough, although twice the manager with Peter Taylor on board
Jon Coleman at Accrington ... incredible job he's done there

Billy Davies - massively over rated, part of an era that so much at Preston was overrated - Gregan - over rated, Nugent - over rated, Lonergan - over rated, St Ledger - over rated, Healy - over rated
Klopp - biggest hypocrite in football
Denis Wise - remember a press conference when we beat Leeds at the Turf and he was manager - it was hilarious.
Gus Poyet - that jacket throwing walk off amongst other things
Graham Westley - another massive over rated PNE clown
Steve Evans - the state of his approach to the game

Re: Managers who get under your skin
It's hard really because in a way I love the characters I hate in management. Things just wouldn't be the same if it wasn't for them. Yes Mourinho and Klopp are morons but without them things would be more boring. Even Pochettino lost his rag when we beat Tottenham Hotspur.
Colin is everyone's panto villain, it's great!
I think therefore it has to go to people who are hated, but not loved to be hated so probably Paul Lambert heads it for me. The fiasco where he publicly denounced our approach and just his general demeanor makes him a number one with Pearson not far behind. At least with Pearson though he's borderline crazy which makes for good entertainment. Lambert is just a rotten bore.
