Points in next 4 games?
So we're slowly edging to safety, how will we fare in the next 4 that'll take us up to an extremely welcome break.
Spurs (a)
Leicester (H)
Arsenal (H)
Everton (a)
On paper that looks tough, but we've already beaten Arsenal, and Drawn with Everton this season, so we shouldn't be overawed by either of these sides, and Spurs only narrowly won at TM, in a game we arguably had the better chances in, and Leicester was always going to be tough with our 1st choice central defence missing.
I have a funny feeling we'll get at least 4, 1 win and 1 draw. and from that list I'd be reasonably content with that haul, if we could take more then great, but as long as we're clocking up points it'll be difficult for Fulham and others to catch us.

6pts, we will bounce back we always do
We only have 3 games in March this will give us time to re group and hit the ground running

I'd like 6, but I'd settle for 4.
Re: Points in next 4 games?
March was always going to be tough - I really only see Arsenal as a chance for anything
Thankfully same for Fulham (apart from Palace away) but Newcastle have Brighton and WBA in their fixtures, although both away
Three home draws against teams below us puts us closer to the relegation scrap
Still 5th favourites with most bookies but odds have shortened (as low as 13/2 from 9/1 last week)
Averaging 5/6 Fulham and 7/4 Newcastle
Just hope the bookies are right

Hey I'd like to wake up to Kelly Brook in the morning, but even I'm realistic sometimes.

Re: Points in next 4 games?
Dyche tends to get the best out of players after a really disappointing performance. I think we might get a battling point at Spurs.
Leicester/Arsenal at home both winnable if we really turn up, if not then nowt.

Re: Points in next 4 games?
I think we'll be lucky to get one.
I'd hope for it be one win out of the next four games
and 3 points.
But if we play like today then it'll be four defeats.
Today was hugely disappointing especially as they went down to 10 men
and we just couldn't take advantage.
We all know 3 points today would have put us within reach
.
Now we'll be looking over our shoulders and hoping Fulham and Newcastle
don't get a few results.

Re: Points in next 4 games?
Funnily enough lots of people thought we wouldn't get anything from the Liverpool and Villa games, and we got 6 points, so I'll be if we don't pick up something from this quarter of games, it's often when our backs are against the wall that we produce our best results, and I wouldn't rule Brighton or even Palace out of danger yet either.jurek wrote: ↑Sat Feb 20, 2021 11:39 pmI think we'll be lucky to get one.

Interestingly most of the bottom sides are actually on decent runs of form.
Brighton are unbeaten in 6
Burnley are unbeaten in 4
Fulham are unbeaten in 4
So apart from the bottom 2 who are well cut adrift it's really tightening up down there, and everybody else is showing real fight to take it to the wire.
The good news is there is no way we'll play as badly as we did today, that was a horror show from start to finish, but importantly we still picked up something from the game, and I'm sure SD will read them the riot act following that shambolic display, he wasn't shy in saying we weren't at the races today even in public, so if he's prepared to be so forthright to the media, you can only imagine what his reaction to the players will be in private.

Some people are never satisfied

We’ve shown we can get results against all those teams on our day so removing yesterday’s performance from my mind I predict we can get a win and a draw - 4 points

Re: Points in next 4 games?
"Brighton are as good as safe then."
There is a reason why Brighton are currently below us in the table.
