Weather.
Why on a Monday evening does the ever so jolly weather person BBC 1 northwest tell us What's happening Friday....? I'd have preferred he told me about Tuesday 'today' ....only just got home in time to rescue my towels from the Rain.no damage done but giving me the next days weather would be more helpful.
Re: Weather.
It’s usually described as the weather forecast... which is a prediction as to what the weather will be like in the future.
If you want to know the weather now, don’t look at the TV look out the window
EDIT - if I’m trying to be a smart arse at least read the bloody post - apologies Tim

Rain!! You’ve never seen rain. B-in-L has just moved over and they are living near the top of Galtymore. Previous owners left him a boat, he’s renamed it Be Prepared.

Tim, remember the hi-tech science training you got from school. Get out the seaweed and pine cones, remember all this stuff you used to write on your slate. . Mind you, you probably be as accurate as the TV guys.

Agree, when you get to a certain age you are just happy that you wake up next morning and you have another day. Another bloody birthday looming tomorrow!

Re: Weather.
Thanks Tim
Re: Weather.
I don't trust the forecasters to give us a correct forecast for the same afternoon, let alone the next day. There's been a couple of occasions in recent months we were told there was zero chance of rain and got hit by torrential downpours.tim_noone wrote: ↑Tue Feb 23, 2021 7:34 pmWhy on a Monday evening does the ever so jolly weather person BBC 1 northwest tell us What's happening Friday....? Just yesterday the forecast was for heavy wind and rain all day. Was sunny and dry until mid afternoon. Could have hung the washing out
