Garden fire pit - Advice please.
Can anyone recommend a decent fire pit as I’m wondering whether or not to get one,
Also, how smoke free is smokeless fuel? Would we still end up with all our clothes stinking of smoke?

These things are likely to be banned in urban environments. much like wood burners in the next couple of years, between them they are the cause of as much carbon emissions as road vehicles in towns and cities and if you must use either make sure that the wood is very thoroughly and properly dried out first that makes it a significant difference, particularly in regard to carcinogenic particles

A lot our neighbours now have log burners ... the smoke around 4.30pm is terrible ...Chester Perry wrote: ↑Sun Feb 28, 2021 12:01 pmThese things are likely to be banned in urban environments. much like wood burners in the next couple of years, between them they are the cause of as much carbon emissions as road vehicles in towns and cities and if you must use either make sure that the wood is very thoroughly and properly dried out first that makes it a significant difference, particularly in regard to carcinogenic particles
My neighbour over the road was bemoaning the fact I still drove a diesel car that was polluting the air... so I pointed to his chimney belching black smoke and told him to think about what he was saying ... he laughed and said fair enough
