Is there any chance some of these lads will get a decent chance in the first team?
There's always a chance. A small one tbh but it is possible. Depends how they develop as some lads that look excellent and a very likely 1st teamer as a teenager never progress as expected and vice-versa though I have to say these are the best crop of development squad players I have seen for us in the modern era.

They'll be knackered given they were all on the Spurs trip yesterday

I think all 3 will be in the 1st team squad for Wednesday. I doubt any 1st teamers will be back for Leicester

Probably will be but there won't be any travelling, overnight stays away etc.

Jake Rooney sent off right at the end for a second yellow, pretty sure the ref awarded the his first yellow to him in mistake as I think it was Woods who committed the foul.

Exactly what I thought, however, it was Rooney who he booked but I don't think that Rooney thought that it was him because the ref just waved the card and Rooney hadn't done anything wrong.

Absolutely no reference on the club's match report to the red card

Yeah, he definitely did book Rooney for the foul on the edge of the area but he shouldn't have done as he didn't actually commit the foul. I was under the impression Rooney knew he'd been booked though because he did seem to question why he was getting booked when he obviously hadn't done anything, maybe he assumed the ref realised his mistake because the red then did seem to surprise him.

I've only ever watched the U23s playing at Curzon Ashton and agree that this group of players are the best I've seen, even though seen only on a stream this past year.

I spotted it on the PL info when I was putting some words together but then looked at the club report which has no mention of it.

The club don't usually release any injury info on players outside the !st team squad.

Cheers Leisure, I should have known tbh as it's come up on here before. I'll assume he is as I'd have expected him to play or be on the bench.

Check Clarets+, or whatever they call it now. I think there's a minute's worth on there.

They don't. Joe McGlynn and Michael Mellon have both returned in the last week or so from long term injuries that have never been mentioned.
