Predictions vs Foxes
So yet another vital game in a short window, I sadly think we'll struggle to contain Vardy, and that may be the difference I'm afraid 1-2 defeat.
Re: Predictions vs Foxes
I am going to go same statement that I did against Fulham & WB and at worst we get the same results as in a draw, 0 - 0, so I'm going with:
2 - 0 win, with a penalty to us
I didn't make any prediction against Spurs
2 - 0 win, with a penalty to us
I didn't make any prediction against Spurs

Re: Predictions vs Foxes
Play like we did in attack against Spurs and be more resolute in defence then we stand a good chance. 1-0 us.
Re: Predictions vs Foxes
1-0 Burnley. Just have a feeling we will nick this one.
Re: Predictions vs Foxes
I think we will bounce back, keep Vardy quiet and we will win.2-0.

Re: Predictions vs Foxes
0 - 3 to Leicester.
Re: Predictions vs Foxes
Well we at least managed a few attempts on target at the weekend, which was an improvement.
I cant see us scoring 2 with the hoofball in full swing, and we look shabby at the back, conceding from set plays and individual mistakes.
We might nick a goal from somewhere, but fear we will let 2 in.
Leicester will want a reaction from the weekend to get back on track for top 4.
I think best we can hope for is a good performance and a goal, but I'm going...
1-2

Re: Predictions vs Foxes
Barnes & Maddison out Vardy 1 goal in last 9 appearances = Burnley 2 Leicester 0.
Ideally both the goals come in the first 5 minutes and the 3/1 price is a winner

Re: Predictions vs Foxes
I'd be happy with a draw.
We're looking jaded.

Re: Predictions vs Foxes
I predicted a 4-0 loss at Spurs so hopefully I can be right again with a 2-1 Clarets win
Re: Predictions vs Foxes
We've got 4 tough games coming up.
One win in those 4 would be a good return and put us on 31 points.
But even that may not suffice depending on how Fulham perform in their next 4.
They've got Spurs, Man City and Leeds at home with LIverpool away.
They'll do well to get 3 points from those.
So I'm going for a win against Leicester even though I think we may well struggle to get it.

Re: Predictions vs Foxes
Fair enough what everybody thinks but I don't get the 0-3 forecasts. Even at the start of the season we scored and should again. Dyche will concentrate on Vardy and yes he should score one but not three. Leicester are ravaged by injuries. So my forecast is 2-1 or 2-2.
Re: Predictions vs Foxes
1-0 us.
Re: Predictions vs Foxes
On paper there squad is at least 2-3 goals better than ours along with the fact that our form is not great at the moment and we are struggling to score. That's where the 0-3 comes from. I'll go for 0-2.COBBLE wrote: ↑Wed Mar 03, 2021 12:24 amFair enough what everybody thinks but I don't get the 0-3 forecasts. Even at the start of the season we scored and should again. You've missed our recent performances then? Spurs...WBA ..Bournemouth.....I'm usually glass half full but the squad is as Weak as I've seen it in the past few years. I dont think your far off.

First time I’ve fancied us since Palace away.
1-0 Burnley.
1-0 Burnley.
Re: Predictions vs Foxes
This will be a close one.
Could be one nil to either team but I’m going for 1-1 (Tarkowski header)

Re: Predictions vs Foxes
Difficult one to predict. Leicester are unpredictable. We can win if they aren’t quite at it but we’ll get battered if they have a good day.

Re: Predictions vs Foxes
I expect a big response though I’d happy with a point against a very good side and were capable of nicking it.

I would also be happy with a draw in light of our current situation.

They’ll sit back, let us have the ball, and catch us on the break.
Unfortunately I can’t see anything other than 0-2

Re: Predictions vs Foxes
I've always been a bit of a happy clapper when it gets close to kick off, but if I'm being honest, I'm not looking forward to games at the minute, I actually think I'm dreading tonight's match. I have lost all confidence in the team currently. Hopefully we are due a good performance and we can get a win...but I just don't see it. We look like we're only getting worse each game.
As much as I hate International breaks, the players desperately need it!

Re: Predictions vs Foxes
If only we'd bought a right winger in one of the last 7 transfer windows things would look more positive, who the hell is SD gonna stick out there tonight? It's an absolute mess that has had an eternity to resolve...

I'd take a draw now but that doesn't mean I don't think we can win.
Injuries a plenty for both sides which makes it a tough one to predict

Re: Predictions vs Foxes
Im on a roll! I predicted the 4-0 thrashing and my crystal ball is saying... 1-0 you heard it here first
Re: Predictions vs Foxes
Really not sure how we are going to score. Our only goal threat comes from set pieces and Rodgers and his coaching staff are too good not to have addressed this even with a depleted squad. We have zero creativity and mis-firing forwards with zero confidence.
Penalties (missed!) seem to be a big factor when we play The Foxes recently so I hope this falls in our favour tonight and that we can take advantage.
I'm going 0-2 I'm afraid and so would also take a draw.

Re: Predictions vs Foxes
SD would say that I am in excellent form having correctly forecast 2 out of the last 3.
Tonight some positivity
2-1 to the Clarets and a goal for Brownhill.

Re: Predictions vs Foxes
I'm certainly feeling more confident having seen the respective line-up's that's for sure, a goal for Brownhill would definitely silence many on this forum.kentonclaret wrote: ↑Wed Mar 03, 2021 5:25 pmSD would say that I am in excellent form having correctly forecast 2 out of the last 3.

Re: Predictions vs Foxes
expoultryboy the winner.
Claret had the score right, but spoiled it by wrongly identifying our scorer.
