Tonight's footy 2/3/21

Post by tiger76 » Tue Mar 02, 2021 8:23 pm

Just cos there's nowt else to talk about really. :)

City winning again, Cardiff winning again, Rovers 0-0 early doors, Stanley were ahead but then had a man off, and are now 2-1 down to Cook's Ipswich, Joey's Bristol Rovers also behind in a big game at Burton, Shrewsbury winning again, hope that's a boost for Cotts.

Edit Rovers 1-0 behind at Reading. :)

Just watched a bit of City game, it’s the most boring football I’ve ever seen. I’d rather watch a Pulis v Allardyce game.

Almost every game they play is a training session played out in one half of the pitch. Great side, awesome squad, talented coach. But absolutely unwatchable in 90% of their ‘matches’.

VAR came in for clear and obvious so why ,without swearing , is it being used for these armpit offside decisions?

Derby battered 4-0 at Cardiff.
Ten games unbeaten under MM for the Bluebirds.
PL beckoning.

Watching Reading. In reference to the earlier post I’ll watch anybody but City, so boring.

Wolves equalise, brave header from Coady, in where it hurts.

Hmm! that wasn't in the script was it. Wolves 1st effort on target as well, now let's see what City have in the tank.

Cheltenham won and are now top of League 2, what a job Duff is doing there, and they still have games in hand on most of their rivals. it looks like he and they will be plying their trade at a higher level next term.

Could Rovers yet be sucked into a relegation scrap. yes they're 11 points clear of the bottom 3, but some of the teams below them have games in hand, and are in decent form. Either way the play-offs are a pipe dream for them now, what a shame.
