Tonight's footy 3/3/21

Post by tiger76 » Wed Mar 03, 2021 8:26 pm

So amidst all the excitement of our game it's easy to forget there's other footy on t' night.

Norwich are heading back to the Prem, they beat their nearest rivals Brentford to go 10 points clear.

Barnsley & Watford also heading for important wins, an Andre double for Watford.

Rotherham also winning at Sheff Wed in the big relegation battle.

Meanwhile in Scotland Rangers and Scotty Arfield are on the verge of claiming the title after yet another win.

Edit Stoke 1 up early doors.

They might and they must have a strong chance of going through the season unbeaten too, it might depend whether they rest players for their EL campaign once the title is in the bag.

Stevie G got a red card tonight for disputing a card shown to Morelos for diving.
Amazed the ref could understand him.

Palace 0 United 0, yet more dropped points for Utd, Palace deserved their point, and they won't be anywhere near relegation.

Very soft pen for Swansea to win against Stoke.

Andre Gray 2 for Watford.

97th minute winner for 10 man Rotherham at Sheff Wed in Darren Moore's 1st match in charge, the Millers now only 8 points shy of Blackburn with a game in hand, can we really dream of Rovers returning to the 3rd tier, I strongly doubt it, but it's not out of the question.

Big win for Swansea, and they're looking favs to nick the 2nd automatic spot now, 6th win in a row for Barnsley also, and they're right in the play-off mix.
