He might be a ****house but he's the only one who insists that "politicians" like Hancock and Williamson are held to account for their actions.

Odious d*ckhead but worthwhile to have to give a different opinion than the usual sheep in journo positions.

He refuses to let them off the hook - which they are used to - and insists on a Yes or No answer and these so-called "leaders" can't hack it.

I agree with him with what he said, but you need to box clever & remain impartial when in the public eye & guard your comments, I don’t think it’ll be keeping him awake at night & he certainly won’t be short of other job offers.

Re: Piers Morgan
I think the whole point of Piers Morgan on GMB is that he had no need to remain impartial whatsoever - boxing clever ie playing it safe - and pussy-footing around politicians will get you nowhere.

Embarrassed himself today. Absolutely slated Harry and Meghan for removing themselves from a toxic situation that went on for years, but spat out his dummy and stormed out on live TV after one minute of criticism.

If you'd ever watched an episode of `life stories`, you'd very quickly realise he is the UK's answer to Oprah in that regard... just gives his celebrity friends a platform to win some new fans....

I’ve seen a bit of Life Stories, but that’s entirely different to his style on GMB.
Last night deserved more than a ‘Life Stories’ style approach.

Re: Piers Morgan
why? it's not as though they are politicians responsible for a certain policy that affects folks' lives. morgan isn't a hard-nosed journalist; he is an ex red-top editor who is far more sensationalist than oprah winfrey.
it is showbusiness nothing more. believe it or not the royal family are celebrities but an actual family.
people take this stuff far too seriously.

I'm not sure what your point is, it's quite difficult to make sense of what you've put.
You expect Morgan to adhere to a time to talk and a time to listen ? He made - and will continue to make - shedloads of money by doing the opposite.
His crucifixion of Hancock was a thing of beauty, though.
Re: Piers Morgan
Had it been a GMB style interview, they wouldn't have got half of what oprah got out of them. Know your subject, and interview them accordingly
Morgan wasn't a trained interviewer and it showed. For all his shouting and ranting at politicians, has he ever got the answer he wanted? Very rarely, whereas if you ask an open question, sit back and watch them tie themselves in knots, don't inturupt and more often than not, you'll get what you want.

I’m referring to what’s recently happened regarding walking off set, Morgan made the comments unwisely in my view & created the problems by his own design, it doesn’t matter what he thinks or what anybody else thinks regarding MM you keep your gob shut & your personal opinions private to avoid conflict, Morgan’s job is not to court controversy, in private tonight he’ll be reflecting & mulling it over & regretting handling it the way he did, you learn by listening & more importantly acting upon the wisdom you are taught.evensteadiereddie wrote: ↑Tue Mar 09, 2021 9:01 pmI'm not sure what your point is, it's quite difficult to make sense of what you've put.

He did eventually get an apology of sorts from Hancock after seven minutes of Hancock's floundering and desperate evasion of the simple yes or no answer.. It was painful to watch but refreshing to see one of our trusted decision-makers absolutely skewered.

Was everything the troops did perfect? No. Did 99.9% try their best? Yes. And that see you next Tuesday threw it in our face and that resulted in a nightmare for those of us there.

ITV parade this clown around on talent shows, interview shows, and cheapo dross like visiting serial killers.
he is the sort that Sun readers and similar tabloid dimwits look up to.
His loudmouth style is supposedly that of tenacious journalist, but in reality its scripted b******s, his half with sidekick they nabbed from the bbc is an embarrassment. morgan has wealth and high profile chums, but ultimately he is a liar, cheat and has mixed with some very dubious characters.

Piers Morgan has been merely expressing his opinions about a thoroughly odious couple who continually irritate and annoy. Opinions that he obviously feels very strongly about.
What gets me about the events of today is the involvement of an equally odious little man called Alex Beresford. Do tell me if I'm wrong, as I don't make a point of watching these programs, but isn't he just the weatherman? He is there to relay the weather news and nothing else. An upstart.

As for Alex Beresford, he brilliantly took Piers apart, it doesn't matter if he's the weather man or not, what he said was spot on.

Funny how it took the “weatherman” about a minute to rattle him.
He like most other his age are terrified, absolutely terrified that strong woman exists, that they are allowed voices.
