Still got my original long sleeve. The retro looks better, as the badge on the old replica was too small and not vg quality….better than the transfer on the home version, which on mine has long disappeared!

There was a Brighton fan Alan from Nelson who regularly wore old Burnley replica shirts
His favourite appeared to be the vilified Quatered green and black.

Received this beauty in the post today. Now on sale from the club shop so I got my order in. In hindsight I could have called in to the shop before the game on Sunday....
Nearly a year ago I said on this thread I just wanted them to produce the yellow shirt now as it's one that I'd always wanted. Brings back memories of my first years as a Claret from 1977 onwards, watching the likes of Kindon, James, Ingham, Noble.....
A picture of it being modelled appeared on a promotional tweet from the club shop a couple of months ago on Twitter, but when I and a couple of others enquired when it was going on sale we got no response.
I'm presuming you couldn't buy these away shirts in the late 70s (can't remember as I was only 9 :D )
You could buy them in the late 70s, I had one. It was the first away shirt I ever owned and still my favourite. I once wore it (with the matching shorts and socks) at a primary school sports day where I won the sprint race. It earned me the short lived nickname ‘the bionic banana’!
