Leigh ran out of steam and Wigan capitalised. Leigh started off like a house on fire and Wigan were very slow off the mark and were penalised quite a lot with some marginal decisions. However, Leigh will be kicking themselves after losing a game in which they were 18-0 ahead not long before half time.
Good to see Super League back.

I enjoyed tonight's game. I'm not really a Rugby fan but how good is it just to see players get on with the game.

Football has gone down a slippery slope compared to these

Yes,it's great to see a game flow without cheating, diving, screaming and deceiving the ref going on.. A great game to watch and you only need to be able to count up to six to understand the rules. Long live superleague. 8-)

Don't rely on it. I remember quite a lot of years back when Halifax were in SuperLeague and it was widely predicted they wouldn't wini a game. Their first match, they beat Bradford and the PA announcer before the second match, and first at home, was crowing about how "they said we wouldn't win a game".

Now, if they had said they wouldn't win two games ...

Halifax also managed to play a match with no penalties. That's how uncompetitive they were. They lost 60-odd nil.

Would love to see Salford challenge again. But I think to much change will see us revert to normal and struggle this season.

The NRL is in week 3 here. “Diving and cheating” is creeping in unfortunately.

It’s creeping in the Super League as well.
